last summer I felt well and so changed job [bonk] then a couple of months later I had a relapse, not sure if it's because I stopped abx too soon, or due to stress at new job, or both.

Anyway, my main symptoms are neuro: chills, cold hands, blurry and double vision, brain fog, lack of brain power (can't digest new information quick enough). And on top of that, I have on-going rashes to be an objective indicator (similar rashes went away during first round of treatment, and then came back and stayed. never had such rashes before lyme).

I don't feel like fully functioning at my new job, but I wonder if my self-doubt also plays a big role here. I used to be confident, and now I feel so incompetent. So hard to tell if it's new job, or lyme, or both. Must be both, but how can I act more positively because even healthy people can suffer from lack of confidence.

A difficult one, and I keep questioning myself. Have been on IV abx for 2+ months and only doing worse.

Lyme, Work Stress, Lyme, Work Stress. When I can break this cycle?

How can I make the best use of my remaining brain power? [confused] [Frown]

Any input, encouragement or not, is appreciated!

justag, [group hug] [kiss]

sounds like both to me; both working against you right now, and you are in treatment.

does your new employer know you have lyme problems? are you on 6 months probation where they have option to let you go if you don't work out?

best wishes! i haven't worked in 9yrs. 3 months; couldn't handle regular hours; all my EXTREME SENSITIVITIES TO LIGHTS/SMELLS/NOISE/SOUND/food, etc!

Hey there justag,

I'm self employed w/ a new job so I can juggle most of my projects. But on those days when I'm not feeling so good and I've already committed to the job I make sure I have supported my self by getting proper sleep, nutrients, and meds.

I know this doesn't help much but wanted to you to know you are not alone.

My brain still isn't 100%. I have trouble w/ word retrevial and just stumble through it trying to dazzle them w/ my designs. [Wink]

I left you an answer on one of your older post concerning docs but never heard back from you.
