AGGGHHHHHH!! ouch ouch!!!!

I just had to get that off of my chest. I just came from the lab, had to get beaucoup bloodwork done.

and yes, I got stuck 5 times: twice in one arm, once in the other, then once in each hand.
AND THEY DIDN"T GET IT ALL. [Mad]

I have to go back. [Eek!]

So they can get 5 more tubes of blood.

lanocaine please. just dip my arms in it. yeah, the whole things. yup. cause they aint gettin 5 tubes out of one stick with my veins.

i'm gonna go cry now. [Frown]

(thanks for listening. I couldn't scream in the parking lot, ya know??!!!)

take care,
kp

kp, yes, you can; scream in the parking lot; don't keep it bottled inside you. what a shame they did not take it all in one time.

2 yrs. ago i gave 15-20 vials all at once! uffda

betty,

they took 12 tubes out of those 5 sticks, they literally tapped me out.

I'm not an easy one to get blood out of, small viens that don't pop up. The phlebotomist actually had me put heat packs on my arms to try to get my veins to pop. Without that, she would have gotten nothing.

The doc is doing follow up testing on EBV (super high), as inflamation levels are now high. He ordered all the classic lyme coinfection tests. (babs, bart, ect.) Not sure what he is thinking, as I don't think he feels that I have lyme (tested neg 3 times). WHatever it is, I'm got to be a pin cushion today.

Tomorrow, a lovely abstract black and blue work of art.

Thanks for your kind thoughts.

I would have gotten in my car, started it, turned the radio on...and screamed!

My veins are deep and they roll so I feel your pain. Sometimes I even pass out!!

It's not unusual for me to get stuck four or five times each month when they do my labwork.

Just one of the many joys of this f***ing disease...
