Hi everyone, This has been on my mind for quite some time, but I'm finally going to post this, and ask Lou Bachman to put this as a sticky feature at the top of MEDICAL so folks can ADD to this.
Many outstanding lyme videos are being posted all over the place, and I thought it would be extremely helpful to all, especially the newbies, to have them in ONE area, and then I could post this web link in my newbie package and add to TREEPATROL'S ARCHIVE.
So this is what I am asking for, which will help us all:
1. the direct link of video 2. LENGTH OF VIDEO ... example 3 min. 22 sec. 3. BRIEF SUMMARY what is on this video ******************************************
JACQUELYN DAVIS, 16, Rochester, NY, a TEEN video talking about her lyme, missing school, being homeschooled, etc. Outstanding comments "Jady" has made includes her tremors/shaking at end of video....
Please add your LYME video links below; this will help so many people. THANK YOU all; share this with someone you know who has posted lyme videos elsewhere on the various forums of lymenet! thanks!

Betty - this is a GREAT idea!
Here's one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDDeYabcZi8 3 min. 5 sec. Still video of lyme facts put to Simon and Garfunkel's the Sound of Silence.

A still video made by Vic about teenagers who suffer with lyme disease. Also put to music. Very good video!

A very professional and educational lyme disease video. Good for people who may be new to lyme disease to see. Most of us who've had it for a while probably already know all the information it gives, but it is a good video nonetheless.

disturbed, God bless you for all the efforts and time you put into adding to what I just started!
I look forward to viewing those I haven't seen before!
Did you get these all from our current lymenet board or going to sites and bringing them here?
many videos have been posted by many folks on this board especially lately! my heartfelt thanks for joining this project!
Posted by disturbedme (Member # 12346) on :
Betty - some of them were posted on Lymenet by others before, I think, and some were just ones I've seen myself from Youtube.

This is about a teenage girl named Laura. It's her story of when she got lyme and how it's affected her life.

Hi Betty - thx for helping to compile this list. There's a lot of good ones now - I've watched some of them.
The one I made last summer with three others: google for San Francisco Lyme Disease Talk Show. It's a one-hour interview with a TV talkshow host on Lyme disease.
Also, there are many more Lyme videos at that site. - Robin

Not a video about lyme, but it's something I absolutely love. It's a wonderful song with inspiring lines. Something good to watch while feeling really down with lyme. Something to inspire us and keep us going on our worst days.

JACQUELYN DAVIS, 16, Rochester, NY, a TEEN video talking about her lyme, missing school, being homeschooled, etc. Outstanding comments "Judy" has made includes her tremors/shaking at end of video....
Hi!
My name is Jacquelyn Davis. Thank you so much for recommending my video. Someone told me that I was posted on here. What a great site I thought I'd clear up some misconceptions. I'm new here ,but I'm 16. My nickname is Jady. I live in Grayson, Georgia. I have a couple of videos posted on my site including my story.
An awesome lady named JAMIE has just posted a lyme video. It's amazing, and she really talks about how it feels to live with lyme and more about antibiotics. Something I have not had as much experience in.

copying info from tincup here:
Noreen Turyn from WSET in Lynchburg, VA (ABC NEWS 13) has been a wonderful advocate for all of us.
As a result of her original three part Lyme Disease Controversy Series, many people were able to find help.
Noreen just did a follow-up report on a patient who received care from a LLMD (Dr. Zachrison- thumbs up Dr. Z) after watching Noreen's original broadcast.
Please take a minute to see the news report (aired last night) and thank Noreen and ABC News for their efforts.
We need more success stories like this! **************************************
NEWS ITEM- This is the follow up to Noreen's previous three part Lyme Disease Controversy Series. This segment aired last night:
jady and fuzzy, thanks for both of your contributions.
i see we have duplicate on 1 of jamie's stories; hers are very touching! i watched them both yesterday!

Outstanding radio interview with Andy Abrahams Wilson on his documentary "Under Our Skin."
You can listen to the interview at the links below. It has been uploaded in 3 parts.
I wish they'd been able to devote more time to the interview. It's hard to cover such a complex topic in a short amount of time. And I wish they had covered the fact that SO many States are now hyper-endemic and that this disease is an epidemic. And that Lyme can be transmitted by additional vectors (i.e., sandflies, biting flies, mosquitos, etc.).
Thanks to Andy for being persistent and spreading the word on Lyme. And I think a thank you also is deserving to Mike O'Meara for opening up the discussion and sharing his radio time on the issue.
In case the above TinyURL expires, you can find this video on Google Video by searching for "San Francisco Lyme."

This one will help you put things in perspective when you think you have been dealt a bad hand in life.
You might have to download the free "silverlite". a program offered by microsoft which is an upgrade for windows media player if you have a pc, if you want to view this.
I make no claims nor am I advertising the center that has created this video. It is simply a tool to understand the beast we are dealing with....

May is Lyme Disease Awareness month.
Hopefully videos like these will help spread awareness of the living Hell that is Lyme.
When Lyme patients say that they are sick and can't function, we mean it.
Linked below are a couple of videos of a woman experiencing herxheimer reactions as she undergoes treatment for her Lyme.
No doubt Shapiro, Wormser, et. al., would say that what Heather is experiencing is from the "normal aches and pains of daily living," that she only really required three weeks of Doxycycline and she'd be healed.
Even worse, they, along with the majority of the willfully ignorant medical profession, would probably tell her to see a psychiatrist and that she does not have Lyme and does not need IV treatment.
Am I angry? You bet I am.
One hundred thousand thank you's of gratitude to Heather for sharing her healing journey with everyone. Thank you for showing the public the devastation of Lyme and the reality of Lyme herxheimer reactions.

Burrascano Video $40 - Understanding Co-Infections
CALDA/lymedisease.org has a video that I filmed and edited for Gordon Medical Assoc. out in California last spring featuring Dr. Burrascano. Besides all of his other great advice on this video one of the most important things he covers, very thoroughly, are all of the co-infections that come with Lyme. Getting clarity on distinguishing each of them as well as how they manifest in someone with Lyme is incredibly helpful if you are anything like me and have a difficult time keeping it all straight. Very much worth the $40 which supports CALDA and it also has a companion CD with a panel of Lyme literate doctors discussing alot of different Lyme related treatment and concerns.
