Apparently, eggs may have ACE inhibiting qualities to lower blood pressure.
Researcher, Professor Bruce Griffin, of the University of Surrey, said: "The ingrained misconception linking egg consumption to high blood cholesterol and heart disease must be corrected."
How about that!

The chickens in our neighborhood have very low blood pressure and for years I'd been wondering why.
So when I saw the title of your post.... I was very interested.
Now after reading your comments...
I am so glad you pointed out we could eat the eggs to get the benefits.
And not have to sit on them.
Whew!!!
I'll have to try that!
Thanks for posting. I never did believe eggs were bad for you.
Good to finally know!
And they are a cheap source of protein for those like me on a tight budget.

TC...hehehe!!
I'm never sure when to believe those studies. If you check, often they are paid for by a national egg association or whatever, and if you have the money, you can make a result be whatever you want.
But I still eat eggs =)
Take care, Ocean

Hey Ocean..
I want so much to call you O. C. Would that be ok?
I had a cat on the farm years ago.. and the cat's name was O. C.
EVERY TIME I see your name I want to say O. C.
And do know- I don't want to call you that for the same reason we called the cat O.C...
OK?

TC,
Sure, you can call me that! Sorry, Lyme brain is not functioning....why did you call the cat O.C.???
PM me if needed
Take care, O.C.

From TC: "The chickens in our neighborhood have very low blood pressure and for years I'd been wondering why."
I can just see TC out there with the tiny blood pressure cuffs. Takes the volunteer EMT thing to a whole new level, doesn't it!!
