I swear I have found THE topic to keep me going and keep me alive in my days of HORRIBLE symptoms and herxing:
I've just been thinking about something regarding IDSA..... and you can take it in a humorous way or in a serious way....
What do you think might happen if one of the IDSA committee members had chronic Lyme?
Do you think they would accept being treated for "...rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, autoimmune disease..."?
Just wondering.

Very seriously....
I swore off of cursing people/wishing bad on them years ago,
But I have wished several times that these morons who think Lyme is not serious, easily treated, blah, blah, blah
would come down with this themselves and see how they like it.
I even wished that before I knew what I was dealing with,
That every doc who told me it was all in my head would come down with these sx for a week or so to see how they dealt with it,
see if they thought it was all in their heads.

Now for the record, I'm not wishing any illness (especially not this one!) on ANYBODY, even the IDSA members....
I'm talking about the reasoning and irrationality of their latest tactics.
What I'm saying is this:
I believe this latest idiocy is due to last-ditch efforts for IDSA to cover themselves.
After all, why the big deal over some antibiotic therapy for a very dangerous / deadly disease?
Why make such noise? Why send letters to doctors to tell them "you better side with us, or else!". Geez, I think the Gestapo had kinder tactics.
Besides, do you know what can of worms(er) the IDSA committee will open up if they are PROVEN WRONG?
THAT THEY NOT ONLY ACCUSED INNOCENT PHYSICIANS OF MALPRACTICE (or practicing medicine "outside of standards"),
AND KNOWINGLY WITHHELD NECESSARY TREATMENT FOR LYME PATIENTS,
BUT THAT IN DOING SO, --- AND FORCING IMPROPER DIAGNOSES --- THEY KNOWLINGLY BILKED THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN UNNECESSARY TESTS AND TREATMENTS!!!!
I wonder how the insurance industry would take that.
I wonder how the American Medical Association would take that.

The IDSA will stop at nothing to keep the truth about Chronic Lyme from coming out. They are all about greed and lying. They don't care about millions of people suffering.
They are tied up with insurance companies that wouldn't hesitate one instant to turn on them and sue them, because the insurance companies are about pure greed too.
As we grow in numbers it deminishes everything they say about Chronic LD. Unless of course they can prove scientifically that we have something else. Which so far they haven't even tried to prove, because obviously they can't.
The only answer they can come up with is......"its all in our heads". My answer to that is.....prove it, "scientifically"!

YES!!!!
AND ---- it also would lead to the exposure that THOUSANDS of PHYSICIANS were bilked (knowingly or not) into providing FAULTY DIAGNOSES!!!!
Not that this would open up lawsuits (class action? Maybe. I'm not a lawyer.)
But maybe it would then make OTHER patients think twice about the practice of their physicians????
