This may not even be the proper board for this, but.....
I got an idea no idea where to go with it: Music for Lyme.
This kid named John sent me on my myspace part of a song he's writing about his Lyme experience.
I'm thinking -- make a cd for Lyme awareness and for supporting the LDA?
I have no idea how to even go about this. I think there might be at least some musicians who might consider it.
ANY MUSICIANS, STUDIO PEOPLE, ETC OUT THERE?
I know some... but I've never made an actual record before...

I think it wwould be a great idea.
I don't know many musically inclined people either, and the ones I do know are more church-oriented, so they would only be interested in Christian type music.
I was once acquainted with the Badlees (anyone ever hear of them? They had some minor chart success in the 90s)--I went to college with the lead singer. But I haven't even heard anything about them lately.
Lyme-Aid sounds great!!

There really was a Lyme-Aid concert once .. or twice.
A member named Tixan Dar has composed a song about Lyme disease and recorded it. It's not circulated or anything.
My husband can record anything you want.

This sounds like a good idea. You may be able to write to turn the corner with these ideas. Esp the Lyme-Aid one.
