Although I wasn't aware of it, it seems I have two accounts with LymeNet.
I have been posting here since Oct 2005, but I also have an account that is much more recent.
The account names are very similar, but I will post using this older account - Lymedad and delete the other (Lyme-Dad).
To update everyone that is interested; our daughter was finally correctly diagnosed w/ LD and 2 coinfections in October 2005.
By the Grace of God, an excellent pair of LLMDs, IV Rocephin, a 9 week HBO treatment and multiple pharma and homepathic protocols, she is doing remarkably well.
She is still living with us (at age 31) here in Southern CA. She is still on disability, but she has begun to put her life back together (baby steps you know).
Now it's Dad's turn.
It seems I have contracted Toxic Mold Poisoning (my terminology may not be quite accurate, but the symptoms are real).
I am currently undergoing multiple tests with one of our daughter's LLMDs (you just can't live without these guys).
He and I are about 80% sure I have been exposed to toxic mold.
I work in the property management arena and I know when and where I was exposed to the mold. Thank goodness it wasn't at our home.
I really appreciate the responses I received from my earlier post.
It will take some time to absorb all of the information, but I wanted you to know that I really appreciate your kindness.
I'll keep you all up-to-date on my progress.

ANY suggestions of how to get rid of sxs or whole allergy to mold??
I get around mold and I am a sick puppy,real quick!!
I used to say I am allergic to work,,,might have to eat my words now!!(or add to the list)

I am most definitely allergic to work, I just don't have any choice in the matter.
My exposure to toxic mold was, hopefully, a one-time deal.
I went into a building that had just had tested and documented black mold removed.
The carpets and entire fixtures (cabinets, counters, sinks, baseboards, etc) had been removed that day and old dummy here walks in to take photos for legal purposes.
I was wearing a dustmask, but even dumb as I am, I knew better.
I guess I thought I was one who wasn't allergic to the stuff - WRONG.
Bad sick the same night, that was in mid-July, been sick ever since.
I just started a protocol prescribed by one of my daughter's LLMDs - detox, immune system build-up, liver help, etc.
Tests will be back from LabCorp mid-September, just have to wait and see.
Take care of yourself, winter's coming and you know what that means.

Sorry to hear about your problems with mold. Somethings are hard to take seriously into it actually happens to us. I hope you're able to get a handle on this soon.

Dad,
LAST time I did the stupid thing and thought I could walk in a moldy,,,VERY moldy bathroom and take out tub faucets and walk back out without disturbing it,,,,yeah right,,,,I was sick for a week
this time its been about a week and cant shake it YET!!
PM me with ANY suggestions or helpful hints to get this gone quicker,,,I have to get back to work on my projects!! ANYBODY??? thanks-d-
