Hello - Please see the article below. I could only say "oh my God". I wanted to pass the information and to determine if anyone can corroborate or have any further updates.

I know one excellent LLMD that I saw for years counted on their co-infection tests more then most other labs'. I stopped seeing her about four years ago, so their Bb technology was not as developed at that point. Many of the members in our group see her currently.

Any input is appreciated
Thanks

Ditto to above: "This is an attack by the infectious disease society to try to save their sorry butts."

The Kansas City lawsuits are very sad. The science behind lyme and the complexities of treatment - none of that was fully understood in that case. Also, there is never any guarantee with treatment of any disease.

Bowen did a very good job and going the extra mile in a unique direction. Some very good research came from the founder of that lab. I had a long phone conversation with hers several years ago. I had called with just one question and she took over an hour to talk with me. I was very impressed. (She has since passed away.)

I saw a friend's Bowen test and you could see the actual cyst form of lyme. But since no doctor in my state even knew lyme has a cyst form she was never able to find a doctor. She is still sick today, about 8 years after that - never got any sort of treatment.

Joanne Whitaker was persecuted by florida because she revealed that florida is a severe lyme place.

Tourism and florida bucks would be severly reduced if people new that (goto florida stand serious chance to get LYME disease).

So they percecuted her and even forbade her to enter her own lab, against her constitutinal rights.

Talk about needing a reply from a melitia, this is it.

A need to kick a Mafia bunch of butts!!!

There is allso another underground biowarfare lab in mamoth cave.

they used it to conduct the same biowarfare test as on plumb island.

Because there is a sort of an island surrounded by a river at mamoth cave this was the scientific control test.

All scientific test require a control test.

Goto Mamoth cave, take a tour check the size of the electrical conduit and transformers there in the cave.

Big enuf to power a serious lab and all the lights for tours and the little lunch area that only has hot plates to keep the food warm, that comes from a above ground cafeteria.

There was allways army guyes walking arround the area arround the entrance, and cabbins. In uniform!!

I was at Mammoth cave once,,,but that was way back in '74' cant rightly remember if it was 1974 or 1874 given MY age factor.

I wasnt lyme literate back then,,,and didnt notice all these things,,,might need a return little road trip!!

I am so sorry I have been away from the boards and only able to stop in here and there for a bit of info on this one or that one.. so sorry that no matter what the government hand in this is going to cost more than anything and the ones who will suffer are the 90% or the population who suffer with LD.. so sorry and so sad but finally it is coming out of the hidden doors.. the lids are off and more and more people are AWARE..

It's funny how a false-positive case gets publicity and are able to sue. But the thousands of us that have been misdiagnosed because of false negatives aren't able to sue. I had false-negative, should I go and sue the lab for the inaccuracy? Or the 10+ doctors that gave me misdiagnosis?

So what was the verdict on this couples diagnosis if they didn't have Lyme?

All I read is that her IV treatment worsened her condition. It's common to get worse through the beginning months of antibiotic treatment. And what if the treatment eradicated most of the spirochetes, once they got off treatment the rest was taken care of by their immune system.

I'm sympathetic for the people, but the truth is there's no 100% accurate test for Lyme disease. In that case how could they award them that much money.
