I started antibotics in dec 08. I got really worse starting feb and never got back to the less worse. Its gotten a bit better, but not nearly normal. Is it a 10 month herx? I'm not at all a believer in the 10 month herx theory. To me that = treatment not working, but many others will come along with differing thoughts.

I don't know. I felt the same way. I didn't begin to turn the corner until about 18 mo into treatment.
Then at the two year point, my herxing was more "monthly" than constant.

I don't mean being better in 10 months Lymetoo or never herxing. I'm referring to one being in a constant herx state every day forever, That's just wrong.

I think taking antibiotics everyday can make us feel awful; but is it a herx?
My LLMD says a true herx only last 4 or 5 days. At least I think I heard him right on that. I guess the dead spirochetes only release toxins for that long and isn't that what causes a herx? And I don't think they are dying every single day. Maybe its that our bodies don't detox very well.
Someone will come along and fuss at me for saying this, but I doubt a herx can last for weeks or months straight.
That being said, I too felt awful constantly on all the antibiotics I have taken except for the low dose doxy that I am on now.

Hmmm I guess I detox bad or the antibotics are just irritating the bacteria all the time. They dont go down without a good fight.

oh, I'm ok. A tiny bit better after every cycle. These severe tremors in my right leg&hand and neck are killing me though. Lyme really sucks and breaks you.

Before antibiotics, I suffered from ever worsening peripheral neuropathy. I had a reasonable amount of energy. I took massive amounts of lyrica and was mentally "stoned all the time". I had no life.
Since antibiotics, I have periods where I feel GREAAT! On top of the world. Since antibiotics, the rest of the time I have episodes where I feel "bad". The longer I go on antibiotics, the longer the bad episodes are lasting, but they are less in intensity. Progress? I would really like enough time feeling good to have some fun. At least I'm not on lyrica anymore. I'm on gabapentin....somewhat better.
It is hard not knowing how I'm going to feel the next day... Will I be worse tomorrow? Will I feel better? Will I be to tired to care?
I try to hold on to..... I will feel better....I always have....eventually
So far, I get through it with gabapentin for most of the misery and flexeril for the weird muscle aches. The doc said flexeril would help me sleep. It doesn't. Melatonin and (generic)benadryl (diphenhydramine hydrochloride)
Oh yes and for clearing the cognitive fog, there is nothing like NAMENDA It is worth the one month trial pack to see if it helps you or not. you will know within the first two weeks.
