no-its true that is what they did on the show. i'm cynical now. it ****e me off so much how they put stupid info out there. and that will spread like crazy as truth-when the message we are trying to get out there won't.

i think they were going to test it for Bb in the hosp but when they ralized it was a tick from far away they didn't test it cuz "they knew" it couldnt have lyme

similar to letterman in the ben stiller post

Sheesh! But they think it came from a penguin?

yeah-in the story this guy stole two penquins from a zoo. then he ended up n te hospital. while there they found a tick-in his naval i think

so when they identified the tick as coming fom the arctic they figure he must have gotten it from the penquin cuz he hadn't been to the arctic

Wow there is nowhere to run!

Sub-Antarctic penguins infected with tick-borne viruses:

http://www.aad.gov.au/default.asp?casid=36611

"As a next step in his research Professor Suhrbier is keen to obtain frozen serum samples from Antarctic and sub-Antarctic cruise passengers who develop unexplained fevers, likely to be of viral origin, after visiting seabird colonies and being bitten by a tick."

Cockapoo - this is wild - how far-reaching the TBIs are, due to seabird flight -
