Yes a deer rang my mother's doorbell. It was approximately 3:00am; her doorbell rang. She couldn't imagine who was ringing the doorbell at that hour. Maybe a family emergency, maybe kids playing a joke.
She looked out her peep hole and saw no one. Then she looked out the front window and there standing in her yard was a deer. Next day she saw where it had eaten some flowers in her flower bed.
My moms doorbell is lighted, so maybe that got his attention; curious I guess.
Thank goodness she didn't answer the door!

Thats funny.
Dont know if you meant it that way.
Its better they ring the door bell than smash thru the large picture window.

I did mean it to be humorous. All we could do was chuckle when my mom told us about it.
And yes, glad he didn't smash thru the window. I guess he was being polite.

This one I had to see - thx for a fun heading - what a well-trained animal - next time, it might drop in for some tea -
Could you call it ringing the deerbell?

Second verse, worse than the first.
Doe, a deer, on my front lawn. Rang the doorbell on a dare. Me, it got me out of bed, Fall'd asleep without a care. So, I looked out of the door. Tra-LA - she stood there, legs of four. Teeth marks in my flower bed. Do you think I want to la la la la
(Taking suggestions for the last line.)
p.s. Sing to the tune of "Do Re Me."

Deer are creatures of habit. If the deer found anything pleasurable, it might be back.
I'm not a deer fan. I see deer and I see misery.
That deer wouldn't want to ring my bell! lol
No, I don't want to hear from the Bambi lovers. I have a real fear and when I look into the woods or nature setting "I see dead deer".
