"Edge of the Garden" is a Hallmark movie that premiered last night. Did anyone see it?

Apparently the woman in the film gets Lyme disease in Maine back in the 1960's and is treated and recovers. The list of medications is shown briefly to the viewer of the movie.

I would like to know what they said cured her.

My sister (had lyme)called and told me about it.
I was going to post myself and inquire who had seen it.

she said she was riveted because it brought up lyme and bullseye rashes and

apparently the modern day character went to his doctor and persuaded the doc to share a list of "60's" available
meds for lyme and "it saved her [60's character's] life".
[the story bridges two time periods like "Lake House"]
Apparently she was also able to persuade her doctor to administer this list of meds for her mystery illness.

My sister said she even was shown to herx and this exacerbated marital abuse.

I had mixed feelings--and grant I did not see it myself.

I was glad that lyme was considered life threatening...that someone had the courage to include it in a movie...

but a bit chagrined that a list of 60's meds was given but at least not a modern list

and then seemed to be a cure.
but at least it was not standard IDSA point of view.

whatever the details pro and con
lyme became a disease theme in a hallmark movie.

that is significant.
so long as it does not promulgate dangerous myth.

I saw this movie too. I thought it was really good. It briefly showed the list of meds given to the woman, I was able to make out 'Vitamin D'

I was also surprised that they included the Herxheimer reaction, but not naming it of course. Overall, it was a good movie.
