I suffered with severe Lyme and Babesia for several years and tried everything to cure it. This ranged from IV Rocephrin/Mepron/Doxy/ and about 4 other types of abx to homeopathic treatments with a nutritionist.

Nothing worked. I just wanted to share what finally did. I don't know if this would work for everyone as each case is different.

I finally saw a top notch LLMD and expressed my concern that it seemed as if ABX were making me sicker. He agreed and said that he was going to kick start my bodies own immune system.

He put me on high potency iv's of vitamin C and Glutathione followed by using an Ondamed machine. The first day I walked out of the office feeling like my old self again. I was in tears because I couldn't believe it could be that simple. Of course it didn't last and I had to return several times but each time the effects lasted longer.

It has been almost a year since I stopped treatment and I am functioning at 80% of what I was pre-Lyme. I'll take it.

I haven't even been on this site because I haven't needed to. A friend of mine was diagnosed and I referred her here which got me to thinking that perhaps I should share what worked for me.

Best to all....

I forgot to mention that I am also giving myself weekly B12 IM shots and they make a HUGE difference in the way that I feel.

Thank you very much. Where do I find the success stories link? I would love to share and and answer any questions I can.

I cannot say that I am "back to normal" but I don't walk around thinking about how sick I am all the time which is great.

The greatest challenge now is whenever anyone tells me they have Lyme I don't even know where to begin in giving them advice. If I knew seven years ago what I knew now I would be in much better condition.

Oh well, you can't go backwards only forward.
XOXOXO

Congrats! Glad you came back to inspire folks!

I don't think we can tell people what to do, since everyone of us is different and responds differently to treatments.

I think what we can do is give others helpful suggestions, like:

finding a really thoughtful practitioner

thinking outside the usual mode of doing things such as only taking antibiotics, like what you're describing here,

continuing to look for what's going to work for you, and not giving up.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story.

Success stories are SO important for us to hear, even knowing our treatment and "magic bullet" is going to be as individual as each person is unique.

I am very happy for you! Thank you for giving me that hopeful glimpse into the future. I really needed that right now. [Smile]

(Also, so pleased to hear that you are now helping others, and possibly saving them from many years of confusion and suffering).

Bless you, and....

Cheers! [Smile]

Congrats! So glad to hear another success story! Would you mind sharing a little more of your protocol? How much C and glutathione did you take at once? How frequent did you do this and for how long? I ask because IV C is the only thing that has helped me so far. I've had improvement, but it doesn't last and I'm no where near 80%. So I'd love to hear any advice you might have that might help make this even more effective for me. Thanks and congrats again.

jlp38-I started by getting the Iv C once a week. I don't know what the dose was but it would take about an hour for it to run into me. (I know that's not helpful). They would follow it with the Glutathione IV which took maybe a half an hour. While I was getting the infusion they would use the Ondamed on me.

After doing it once a week for 4 weeks I began doing every other week for a couple of months and then just as needed.

I also did as much exercise as I could and shot myself up with vitamin B12 when I was tired. I do find that when I start to feel lousy I swallow Lymphomyosot all day and take advil and usually feel better within 3 days.

I hope this helps you. You can inbox me if you have any specific questions.

Yes this helps tons. Thank you. I think I've done significantly more C than you - enough that telling me it took an hour to run in does actually give me a pretty good idea what the dosage was. I just sorta wanted to make sure you didn't have a dramatically different protocol as I do. I have to stay at 3 (or at least 2) IVs per week to maintain any effect. And there's no way mine could run in in an hour so I think I'm at a high enough dose. I'm not sure if my doc has tried the glutathione or not. I will have to ask him. I'm glad it's working for you. Wish I was having the effect you are, but some effect is better than none. Thanks again.
