Please tell your friends and lets get a good turnout for our new group.

Hurstborne Christian Church is very easy to get to, right off of I-64. Located between I-64 and Shelbyville Rd. Across from Barnes and Noble.

I met the pastor of this church through a mutual friend of mine that attended this church for years. My friend moved to Houston Texas.

The pastor Mike had a bulls eye on one of his legs a year ago in May. His GP gave him 10 days of doxy and told him everything is fine now.

May 2011 Mike gets a bulls eye on the other leg after removing a tick. Within days he is crumbling and he goes to a well thought of ID in the city.

The ID gave him 2 weeks of doxy and told him...now you do NOT have lymes disease. He doesn't know why Mike is falling apart, he just knows that it's not lymes.

Lots of blood test, over and over again. Now has another highly recommended doctor that said the "C" word. This doctor said there is not connection between the 2 bulls eyes and lymes disease. He took abx...it's over.

Rene and I tried starting a support group about 18 mths ago. We didn't have a meeting place, so we went to a restaurant? No a good place to try to meet.

Mike and his church have offered a meeting room in this church for Rene and I too reach out to others in this area and try to help others.

We know there are many many folks in this area that are battling Lyme disease and other co-infections. We've PMed with you and spoke with many of you over the phone.

We've read stories in the media, seen stories on the news. Lyme disease and all the co that comes with it is in this part of the country.

Oh yes! Pastor Mike has a LLMD appt scheduled on Sept 12th. He has done enough research and talked to so many people in this area that are also fighting this terrible illness.

Mike is looking forward to meeting with others and helping support the cause and fight of educating others about Lyme & co.

Under Our Skin has made a difference in this area. TBTG!

Please feel free to PM me any questions. I plan to have easy directions from the Interstate to this meeeting hall as we get closer to the date of Sept 15th.

Time to bring this to the front page. I've received 3 requests from Louisville area people in the last 2 days.

Rene and I will need to keep this going on front page so we can help the people in this area that feel so alone and like they are the only one fighting this thing called lyme.

Anyone at all that may be interested in attending our meeting on Sept. 15. Please contact either myself or map1131. We are both looking forward to meeting other lyme sufferers in our area. Support while suffering with this disease is so crucial, so if able, come out and join our group!!!

Thanks. There are so many people in this area that need to know they are not alone and not the ONLY one in KY or IN going thru this ordeal.

There is hope and others around that get it! Every crazy bit of it.
