I know a lot of you will relate to this...I have "treatment fatigue." I am coming up on my 2 year anniversary of treating lyme and co.

I've worked with two knowledgeable LLMDs, done combo antibiotics, IV, herbs, homeopathic, massage, myofascial, physical therapy, detox teas, parasite treatment, heavy metal chelation, etc, etc, etc.

Am I getting better- yes! Am I where I want to be- no! Its just so frustrating- it has not been a clear path to getting well- a lot of trial and error- you all know the drill.

I am just so sick of treating this illness. My husband has lyme now too (classic symptoms, bullseye rash, etc) and is now on doxy. My brother pulled a deer tick off himself over the weekend. Does it ever end!?

Give me your best ideas and thoughts for getting through "treatment fatigue"

thanks!!!

Since I am not a "good" eater. I have started making smoothies and putting greens, acidolphilis, fruit, etc in to the juice. I use almond milk or water, whatever I have.

I think it has helped me. My goal was to try and build up my immune system.

what gets me through treatment fatigue is the fear of what happens without it....
I should feel a little better than /if you in some ways, but I don't ...I'm fried, not secure with what docs say to do or what they miss things....

I've basically been self treating for over 4 years .what ever way I could, mostly zith.A pulmonologists knew I was sick and kept me on it for a while..

It wasn't until this Aug, that I was diagnosed with ly-Co's.....I thought with double or triple the meds going in I.d feel much better.'

so instead I've pretty much been in house/usually bed for over 5 weeks.. I try to push through and over-ride it ,but can't..

So I blame me a lot... This is so opposite of what I was like before I turned 50.

I had a life, not the one I thought I would have ,but was going to work with what was left.

Then got hit by this hideous mess..

My faith in The LORD is what holds me up..Nonna

Thanks for the encouragement. Yes it helps to get others perspectives. If I wasn't treating who knows where I'd be.

I love Smoothies too. I feel the best way for me to get greens in my body. I really like the amazing grass powders mixed with some fruit and juice.

Is there anyone who can take on some of the load for you? Someone who can distribute your meds, make the smoothies for you, get you out into the sunshine?

We try to watch comedies, Lucy, Andy Griffith, whatever can get us to laugh...

I know this is a simplistic answer, but it's all I have. Just know you are not alone.

Hugs to you.
