Hi, I'm a 19 year old male and I've been going through depression and anxiety for over a year now. Ever since going to school reality just doesn't feel the same, I'm fatigued, everything is very foggy, and I feel lightheaded, i have short term memory, and concentration is worse. I had my thyroid checked for hypo or hypa thyroid issues, the test came back negative.
I've never had a ring around a tick bite, yet im still suspicious that i may have lymes..
I'm just worried, i want my brain to go back to normal. I want to think clearly again, i want to be able to concentrate, i want my old social life. I may be over thinking things now, but do you think it could be lymes? is it worth getting it checked out? I don't have the flu symptoms.(even my perception feels off? If i stare at anything long enough it gets a bit blurry)
ugh sorry, i'm just a bit afraid this feeling will never go away. This is a horrible post and im sure i sound crazy, but i aam desperate to get some help.
thanks

If you are thinking and wondering about it, you should get tested, at least for a peace of mind?
I didn't have any sort of rash or anything and I just tested positive on the two basic lyme tests that general practitioners do. I have heard though that many people will test falsely negative on these tests.
Have you heard of lyme literate dr's (LLMDs)? If you are close to one, you should make an appt with one. They use a more trustworthy test/lab for lyme results.
You could make a post on the 'seeking dr' forum on this site of where you live and someone will private message you with someone.
