You read that someone is a "detox specialist" and you think they know all about preventing and ameliorating herxes.

---I'm not kidding--- I actually thought that!!! [bonk] [bonk]

...when you see the name of a local restaurant, "Mangosteen," and think, "So they know all about Lyme treatment too?"

When you hear the old Tony Orlando song 'Candida' and you think 'why in the heck would they name a song and a girl after yeast??'

Ok, so I'm dating myself here...

When you see an advertising poster in a bank with big black headphones on a white background and you think "Oh wow" they know about the grey aliens with the big black eyes too.

That was before I got dx. [Cool] [loco]

...when other people talk about their excitement for hiking in the woods, fishing, hunting, camping and spotting deer and all I can think about are the ticks and Lyme.

After the horrible tornado damage close to Louisville on March 2- the news is showing all these high school kids doing good deeds instead of heading to the beach for spring break.

These teens are showing up by the hundreds to clear out trees including pine tree limbs and clean up in the areas.

I'm freaking and worried just watching them.
I don't see the help as generous...

I see disaster.

I've started calling in when there is situational work being doing outdoors, like the rescue orgs and sheriff depts of various locales -

I encourage anyone who wants, to contact these communities and talk with them about tick repellent, etc.

How about when you're watching "The Walking Dead" and the only explanation for all the ZOOMBIES is they've been bitten by TICKS!
