I had always been so physically active between running, weight lifting, yard work, doing things in the house, being a gym rat.

I can't do any of that with the exception of occasional weights now and then. Has anyone taken up a new hobby and found reward in it? I've tossed around the idea of taking up guitar or piano, or doing SOMETHING totally new.

Perhaps even learning a foreign language although I have tried this with books and my head became too jumbled to process properly.

I did adopt a second dog last summer, although at times I have buyer's remorse.

I would like to take up drawing, but can't seem to find the time.

My daughter loves butterflies and I would like to sketch something for her.

I have a lot of hobbies, so I'm just tending to do the less physical ones instead for a while - jewelry making, quilting, etc.

I am still about to go plant some pansies though - I can't totally not garden! I can handle pansies.

well, I sorta did

I had to retire from teaching 18 yrs ago. I began making jewelry to make money. I still do that and enjoy it!!

Lately my bulging disc is making that really hard to do, but I hope I can continue.

My husband has lots of hobbies - photography is one - he takes pictures around home since he's not able to get out & about.

He does some woodworking in the basement. A little at a time - built a wooden box / case for the rife machine.

He also learned to do sand blasting on glass... and the latest thing is vinyl word art.

I am going to study Buddhism. I think it will make me feel more centered.

I definitely want to reinvent myself

Funny... My new hobby seems to be this site [loco]

I know EMF's are a problem to many, but The computer is one of the very few thing's I can spend some time on. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I now listen to the Bible on audio ,with the wrong kind of ear plug's, with Computer on bed, as I try to sleep..

This is when it's night time and my days are turned around, or the ringing in ears is loud...

I try to read but black and white lines are blurring and the bible weighs a bit.

I need to beg husband for a shelf or something to get computer further away while I'm sleeping..

Good luck with that,, [Roll Eyes]

I was going to say supplement hording ,

I'm a golfer too. I go whenever I get a chance.

My club has nice, wide open fairways and very little tall grass.

I didn't go much last year because we had to do a lot of moving around & camping out while we were fixing the mold that we found in our house. I plan to golf a lot this year to make up for it. [Smile]
