I guess I'm just seeing who's up at this time of night.

Just hurled my upped dose of Malerone rather intensely. I also noticed my fever has (hopefully temporarily) shot up to 102.

I was told to head to some urgent care if it went over 101.5 due to the picc, but I'm pretty sure this is just because of the intense reaction and that I was in an extra-heated bathroom for a bit.

So I'm just hanging out here for a bit to see if things settle down, or if I have to go through the hassle of waking hubby up, finding someone to come watch the kids in the middle of the night, etc.

I think I'll ask to lower the dose for a bit tomorrow... [toilet]

Oh boy. Nothing like the middle of the night hospital run.

Did you eat enough with your Malarone?

I hope the fever comes down. Try soaking feet in a lukewarm Epsom salt soak while placing a cool wet washcloth on your forehead.

Or, if you need bigger guns, icepack on the head. That always lowers my Babs' fevers.

I eat yogurt when my tummy is upset. I can't do carbs, so crackers are out.

I hope the fever comes down, and you can get some sleep.

Lyme sucks.

"Oh I'm just sittin' here waitin' for my sleep meds to kick i-iii-in. I really love to watch the clock..."

That's a Beatles' serenade for you. [Razz]

Its looking more like I just plain old caught a nasty stomach virus, that happened to coincide with the Malerone (I had been doing fine with it until that point). Although I haven't tried taking any more yet. I haven't tried anything but ginger ale yet,

Fever went back down to its usual 100.5 by 8am and is holding steady without meds. And I was able to sleep from 11-3.

Debating whether to try any actual food yet...
