It seems like I screw up everything I do, even the simplest things. I can't remember anything, and have isolated myself for fear of doing something stupid. I'm very worried that I might be getting dementia, even though I am not that old. Anyone else feel this way? [Frown]

Yes. I preface every question with, "I know I just asked you this" and I repeat the question.

I offered everyone he last of the fries the other nite, they were chips.

I have stood and counted and recounted change at a store, sure they gave me back the wrong change.

When I order food I will order something totally different and not remember the other item I picked. The family will say, I thought you wanted fish?

And the list goes on....

Yes I know what you mean. This is not just an occasional thing that happens. It's all the time, I wonder if I am going to be here mentally for my family? I do things that a senile person would do. Wrote a check for my daughter's school yesterday and forgot to sign it, so the lady had to call me last night to come sign it.
If something goes wrong, I just assume it was because of something I did. I feel like I am losing my mind.
