Basically, doctors now have to give patients notification in writing that says the negative Lyme test thay had may not really be negative.

From what I've been told, other states have been watching this in VA to see what will happen.

I really hope that all the Lyme legislation in VA changes things for other states. I left that state because my husband and I were being bitten repeatedly.

We're trying to leave too, Faithful. Mostly because we want to go home to Michigan where all our family is, but I also want to get out of here before anyone else in my family gets Lyme, especially my boys.

I know Lyme is everywhere, but it just seems rampant here, especially in NoVA.

Still, today was a step in the right direction.
