Psalm 111

New International Version (NIV)
Psalm 111[a]

1 Praise the Lord.[b]

I will extol the Lord with all my heart
in the council of the upright and in the assembly.

2 Great are the works of the Lord;
they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
5 He provides food for those who fear him;
he remembers his covenant forever.

6 He has shown his people the power of his works,
giving them the lands of other nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy.
8 They are established for ever and ever,
enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He provided redemption for his people;
he ordained his covenant forever--
holy and awesome is his name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise.

I've been wanting to see Voices of Glory since they moved to our town following their performances on America's Got Talent 4 yrs ago. Saturday we met Avery (the youngest) and their proud Dad. Can't wait to see their new show. Very nice people!! GREAT music!

Awesome singers! thanks for sharing that, Lymetoo. I did not see them on America's Got Talent. That would be fun to see them in person.

I enjoyed psalm 111 too. Praise the Lord always!!

Friends...I have 2 prayer requests:

My friend, Judy, has had a post-surgical complication, so she has to have another unexpected surgery this Thursday, April 11. She is really disheartened.

She also needs the strength to completely stop smoking. Please pray that all goes well with surgery and healing, and she will recover from her cigarette addiction.

Secondly, my son and his fiance are getting married on April 20.

Please pray for all to go well from the rehearsal and dinner, to the wedding, picture-taking and reception, safe travel/good health on their honeymoon, and for them to be blessed with a happy God-centered marriage.

I really appreciate your prayers for all of that!

Hugs to all my dear friends!!

OH, I'm so sorry that Judy is still having trouble. Hope she recovers soon and can dump those cigarettes!!

Prayers also for your son's wedding!! Having God in our marriages is the "hidden link!"

Please pray for Gage again. He will undergo another brain surgery this Friday. Poor child.

They are going to implant something that will directly send the chemo into his brain this time. Hope he can finally beat it.

God Thought friends,

Lets us all keep Wayne (payne) in our prayers. Wayne has blood clots in both his lungs. At this time Wayne is in ICU, but stable. He spoke to me via text and stated that he did get to see those white gates before he was brought back. Wayne is a strong man and it's just not his time. Please, please pray for my dear friend and your friend.

Lord, You are the One we turn to for help in moments of weakness and times of need. We ask you to be with your servant in this illness. Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal. So then, please send your healing Word to your servant. In the name of Jesus, drive out all infirmity and sickness from his body.

We ask you to turn this weakness into strength, suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy, and pain into comfort for others. May your servant trust in your goodness and hope in your faithfulness, even in the middle of this suffering. Let him be filled with patience and joy in your presence as he waits for your healing touch.

Please restore your servant to full health, dear Father. Remove all fear and doubt from his heart by the power of your Holy Spirit, and may you, Lord, be glorified through his life.

As you heal and renew your servant, Lord, may he bless and praise you. Amen.

Oh my, praying for our dear payne.

Lord Jesus, you are the Great Physician, and I ask you to cradle Wayne in your arms. Please remove all illness from his body and restore his lungs to full function.

Heavenly Father, please lift Wayne up, and let him feel your overwhelming peace, love and comfort.

Lord, let Wayne know how much he is loved and needed by his online friends, and we praise You in advance for his healing.

Thank you, Jesus, for giving Wayne and all of us the hope that we need, and the love that sustains us.

Please infuse Wayne's body, mind and soul with your healing presence.

I ask this in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

[group hug]

An update on Tiffany, who recently turned 23 and has been diagnosed with breast cancer that metastasized to her skull, femur, pelvis and spine. (She was treated for breast cancer 1 yr ago).

She will be undergoing radiation and then started on some meds.

She is a very strong and upbeat young woman. Her Mom, Traci, is very strong also, but is scared, as anyone would be, for her daughter.

Please pray for Tiffany's healing and peace, trust and comfort for the family.

That's awful. People are getting cancer at such young ages now. Will pray for her.

Thanks for your prayers for Gage.

They think Tiffany developed breast cancer because she carried her cell phone in her bra.

I did not even know that young people were doing that, but I'm told that many of them do.

The cancer was in the exact spot that she carried her phone.

Gage had his surgery today. They got as much of the tumor as they could. I think they are going to implant something that will deliver the chemo directly to the tumor this time.

Pray for his family!!!

The Power is in asking God, may Peace Blanket this site"lymenet" and its founders, monditors, members. and new finds,
Jesus gave me bread, and I want to share with all that call on His Name.
I am resting peacefully, know the war was won, a long time ago,
thru Jesus Christ, He alone like David, are our Greatest Warriors sent By God to do His Will.
Now we need to follow thru with supporting God's Word..
like a soldier, comes home from war, the wounds we see, the cross he carried for US..
Pick up The Cross for just one day..
really for one entire day, can you shut off the world and be obediant for only one day ?
you do that today and i will do it tomorrow and who wants to do it the next day ?

Update on Gage:

Hello faithful prayer warriors,

We have such good news about Gage. He got to go home today! Yea!!! And he is walking with just a little assistance from Mommy or Dad. He is talking and eating. We are sure that God heard our pleas and prayers for this little one who has gone through so much.

If all goes okay he should start chemo the week of May 20th. He will be at MD Anderson's for a week as they administer the chemo and watch for side effects.

I would like to let you know in detail what the doctors said. Dr. Fletcher removed the tumor (3 cm) without any complications. However, he had to leave some tumor tissue on the brain stem. This is where the tumors constantly reappear.

The doctor who will be administering the chemo inserted the tube that the chemo will be administered straight to the area in the brain that the tumors keep reappearing. He had difficulty with the tube not crimping, as Gage just simply has no muscle in the back of this head and neck because of all the surgeries. It took him 3 hours and had to come up with a creative way to place the tube so that it would not crimp.
And to suture him up was difficult because his skin is so thin from all the surgeries.

This family has gone through so much and has been blessed in so many ways. But those blessing mean nothing compared to saving Gage. If this new chemo doesn't work I truly do not know what they will do. They have gone down every avenue opened to them. They've been to Chicago, Boston, been in contact with Dr's all over the world. They have him on every good mineral, herb, roots, vitamins and supplements that they have researched for his health. And to be honest he is probably healthier than any of us.

Please keep Gage and the family in your prayers. We so desperately need them. Missy & Dan are exhausted and need strength to just get through the day.

Thank you again....God is So HUGE AND MERCIFUL. What would we do without Him?

(from my SIL..his great aunt)

His mom says he's playing with Lego's tonight!
