Thanks... there were some recent questions about chat rooms and the consensus was that there weren't any. So .. there are some who will be glad to know it DOES EXIST!!
The thread you found was so old that I guess it no longer works.

Here is the Lyme chat room that is associated with the LymeFriends site.
This is open all the time. We used to have nightly chats. Try the icons at the bottom to see what they do.

Carol.. Tracy came here a few weeks ago and said the one for Lyme friends is no longer in use.

As you can see, the room is there, and it works.
If you invite some other people to come in and chat with you, then it's "in use" again.

I'm new to chat rooms and not sure if this will go through or if I'll be in or if anyone will read this but I'm desperate for an ear so I'm trying (hopefully not in vain). My name is Pam and I'm dealing with a family of lyme victims. They seem to take turns getting symptoms and right now I'm ready to hop the fence into someone else's life. The grass has to be greener. My own lyme seems to be in check for a few years now but it's never truly gone (of course).

Well, I see the chat room listed on this site, but there doesn't seem to be an operating link...
ETA: Ooops! that was just the name of this topic. Sigh. Bad brain day.
IS there a chat room??

My experience with chat rooms is that trolls get on and ruin everything.
