Now, before you guys all load up on the stuff... do know that it seems to grow more candida for me.. Just a heads up!

Very interesting. I had a 6 month hiatus from abx because I thought I was well, and I am restarting tonight.

When I took abx last time, I used stevia quite a bit. However, when I stopped the abx, I stopped the stevia. I figured that there was no need. Maybe I should have kept up the stevia!

I'm not saying that there is any kind of correlation, but it is interesting to read this as I am about to reembark on abx and stevia.

Thanks for the link. I'm glad she continues to research lyme and various possible ways to approach it. It will be nice to see what comes out of this - many questions arise that are not answered just yet but hopefully, she'll keep with this and tell us more along the way.

I use Stevia multiple times daily in my Green Teas. I have no issues with candida at all. However, Green Tea is helpful against candida and I am usually on one herb or another that covers many bases (such as Berberine, etc.).

In terms of dose, I am not sure how much I use each day but it's certainly moderate with about 6-8 sixteen ounce cups of some kind of green tea (or herb tea) a day.

Dose, type, other specifics, how well in vitro translates to in vivo and if it can cross the BBB, if body weight adjustments are required, any possible issues with hypoglycemia (and, if so, at what dose) all questions to explore.

Still, it's always good to see some changes on the slide under a microscope. Very glad Sapi is working hard to help those with lyme.

I certainly am not well, yet. So, regular use of Stevia should not be interpreted as a treatment protocol.

It may be helping me, of course (and I have never had access to a full protocol of any kind) - but it is best if anyone with lyme can consult with their LLMD or a LL ND (naturopathic doctor) for how this might work with an overall protocol . . . until Sapi's research moves to the next level.

Stevia is certainly a sweet addition to my life. I love it in my tea. I have used it for about 22 years now, long before it was even officially on the market.

Seeing how sugar is inflammatory to the body, we should all avoid it even after Lyme disease. I use Stevia and xylitol made from birch trees.

The above link makes you wonder about the NutriMedix.
