My suggestion is to let others know what you're dealing with re workers' comp and get some feedback - here, area support groups, state lyme group? You don't have to go this alone.

Ip, not sure what the exact issue is....but did you tell them you do not understand or cannot do what they are asking you for-thus the reason you need their help?

Sometimes, when I am at my most stressed/sick, I look to someone/anyone to help. Can anyone in your family talk to them to sort it out......then they can let you know what needs doing?

It is interesting.....even applying for SSDI, they make you do more than you can physically and mentally. I always thought, crap..if I could do all of this paperwork and meetings, I'd still be earning my own money every day in a career I spent 30 years in and had to leave.

It's a system created by lawyers for their own good, in their own wordsmanship. How are lay people supposed to cope or understand?

So, even though I cannot help, I understand. Wish I could hold your hand and say "IT WILL BE ALL RIGHT..IT WILL ALL WORK OUT".

Sometimes, that's all we need people to say to us on our worst days. [group hug]

Hey LP,

I'm so sorry that you've got all this stress on you.

I wish I could help you. I'm not good at legaleze.

Mushy brain day for me too (babs flare Thursday) can't express in words.

I'm thinking of you and supporting you by thought and feeling

So sorry to hear this. Your meltdown might have actually helped get the message through to the WC lawyer. I hope so. There should be courses at Law School to teach lawyers how to translate their jargon into plain English.
In the meantime:

Please know you don't have to do all of this yourself, that you can talk with others who have dealt with worker's comp and all the other issues. They can be in support groups, in your online state group, here, etc.

I don't know what state you're in so here is the general link for the online state Lyme groups:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/statenamelyme

Another resource for you is:
www.lyme-aware.org

Just click on your state and a page will come up for that state with all sorts of links (Support Groups included).

Hang in there and take one day at a time. We all care about you and pray that Almighty God will help you.

Sending lots & lots of hugs to you!!

Workers comp is just plain EVIL i could never get them to fix my shoulder.

There is a old mens calone called Stetson,if you can get some a couple of squirts down the skunks hole and it will leave forever.

SKUNKS HATE STETSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive waited 9 yrs to fix my hands. they were set to have surg and the workers comp guys talked to my doc and after that he would nt give me an appt or do the surg-

so they still arent done and all this other stuff is going on

my neighbors keep seeing the skiunk so i think i scared him away with the lights, tv ammonia rags and the ig one: ettas day old ripe potty pads!

but i will try to remember about the stetson and spread the word about that. there are woods all around here.but i think he and the chipmunks have learned to enjoy the comforts of civilization too much

We had skunks living behind the garage when I was in school still. My Mom sprayed the nest and baby skunks with ammonia and the skunk family disappeared...

[group hug]

I hope your surgery goes well and you have a good, speedy recovery...
