Sunshine, sweet sunshine. The sun is peeking out today and that lifts my spirits.

Kam, you said that when you are home you feel worse than when you are gone from your apartment. Do you think it is the heater, the smartmeter, mold?

I was heading to the community college to walk around the indoor track when I discovered 1) it is closed on Sundays and 2) only faculty and students are allowed. BUMMER!

So, I will ride my exercise bike again in two shifts today.

Hope your week is full of sunshine.

i finally got some real exercise today. it was less than an hour but more than i should have done. it was sunny! and inviting...so when etta was running around and crashing thru the snow where the crust was softening...i attacked the ice wna when it comes up it is so hard to stop...i knew i would pay but i made progress on back patio and driveway...it will freez to night but be above freezing for a few days so hope to make more progress...i thoght i would die when i came in and sat with heating pad for a long time and took skelaxin ...

i was up to 4:30 this morning doing the paperwork...but i think something else is wrong cuz i was really tired but could not get to sleep. im stopping armour for a few days to say if it helps.

this morning when i finally slept i was in recliner...my knees pain me so much in bed and the shoulders or rotators or what ever that hurt...

i remember my mom saying she couldnt put on any shirts over her head anymore...i am getting close.

but hope i burned a few calories...im supposed to see the lawyer at 10 tomorrow. that is a really hard time for me. i will have to go to bed at 7...with extra sleeping pills to get to him at 10. i did email him it was bad for me but since it is a weekend...i dont know if he will be able to change it

oh well...

Able to drive out to th eforest and be on my feet long enough to get to the log and sit down. Short outing. Not doing well and it was too cold.

The heater in the car felt good but the sound of the fan was too much.

I just went to pick up the generic biaxin. Co pay is now over $200. I wasn't able to get it.

This means that all the prescriptions for 2014 are in jeopardy. Too sick to make phone calls and find out what is going on.

Biaxin is OK to go cold turkey but the others I am taking.....well..I can't go cold turkey and I can't go without them: generic sleeping meds, tramadol, and gaba.

maybe it's the stars kam I had a rough morning too
my phone is acting weird

I did see the lawyer eventually after sleep problems and parking problems and it was basically good

it's only the beginning but it's in his hands now for a while
he told me to calm down and eat and sleep and let him take care of it for now - that will be easy to do

When i got home i chopped ice for 20 min and now im restimg in sun

Hope i can work another 20 mim

After lawyer i had tea with a friend and realized i was in bad shape and couldnt hold a conversation

Im mad its been so long since i have been on a horse or in a kayak

i did the extra 20 min and now i need to sit on heat pad...my lower back and hips are acting up. hips for first time. i will take as many sleep and pain meds as i need to actually sleep tonight..4 hrs is not ok

my brother in sw florida texted he and his wife are real sick with flu-they cant even drive. a friend took her to doc...she might have pneumonia. shes had it 10 days...him 4. so far their teenage daughter is ok

So here's what's happening in my neck of the woods!

http://www.kspr.com/news/local/kspr-special-report-southwest-airlines-jet-takes-off-from-wrong-airport/-/21051620/23908124/-/10hdnk3z/-/index.html

I saw bits and pieces of that on the news while channel surfing.

From what I understand he landed on the wrong airport and the passengers had to be transferred via a bus back to the correct air port.

and they were very lucky he was able to stop the plane in time as the run way was short and had a drop off and not made for heavy air planes.

Sounds like they all were very lucky and things could have been much worse.

No wonder I don't fly very often!

Not much in the exercise department today. My shoulder is still killing me and it is snowing again with 30-40 mph winds expected.

I guess the snow will have to stay on the sidewalk and drive, because I can't physically shovel right now.

Not even looking forward to cleaning ice and snow off the car to get home. Roads are slicker than snot.

that made our news too tutu...and i knew it was near you!

kam you pretty much got the whole story!!!

i slept A LOT and woke up to a dream-i think-but it may have been real-when my eyes were closed and all i could see and hear was a cash register tape going flying by...or maybe it was an old fashion adding machine...it went on for awhile cuz i was trying to see what the items and prices were.

im sure it was related to the last 4 weeks i have spent doing budget type work on my finances.

but at times my eyes act like a zoom and they zoom in and then out...and i cant control it and no doc can explain it...so maybe it was my eyes

but the sleep did me good. i had to wake up and take pain pills half way thru.

then was slow altho i did clean up kitchen counters and dishes...and then chopped ice and shoveled for half hour. im making progress but very slow. and i think it is going to start to cool down again.

i didnt know there was snow in IL...thats kinda close-maybe you'll have another day off but then you might not have a summer vacation!

Actually, by the time I got home from work today, the roads were fine and the snow was gone from the car.

The wind, however, about blew me out of the parking lot all the way to LP's house!

Easy day at work. Kids were working on projects or taking standardized tests. Of course, when the projects are due on Thursday, I will be up to my eyeballs grading them. I am sure Lymetoo remembers those days.

Time to contemplate the leftovers in the fridge.

Tuesday-Back at work. This weekend I did some dishes for my Mom and took her to look at an apartment. I'm very slowly recovering from that bout of pneumonia. Still don't have a whole lot of energy and feel sweaty at times.

Have to start cramming again tonight for my 2 tests this Friday.

So I'll be exercising my brain this week! [Big Grin]

See you all tomorrow!

i added to my exercise! i gave etta a bath---shes been playing in the mud and for those who havent seen her...she looks like a white, long-haired cat(but she is a dog)

shes a little whiter now---shes gotten pretty dirty before but this time she had black spots...sort of like a dalmatian...it was time

Washing a dog is hard work! I've been taking Rocky to the groomer. He gets washed and his nails trimmed. I think they clean his ears too.
I love it cause he smells so good and is soft and shiny when I pick him up.

Exercised my brain last night and today. After work I have 2 more chapters to read.

Friday is test day. I'm hoping I can skim over the practice tests before I go in to take my tests. That's the plan anyways.

See you all tomorrow!

Hiker.. I think all I did for 21 yrs was grade papers and do lesson plans. Hope you sail right thru those!

AK.. hope you feel better soon!! Being sick is exhausting!

kayak.. glad Ms Etta got all cleaned up. She is probably happy too!

I went to the nearby city today and shopped. Needed some things for my jewelry making and I also went to the big health food store and stocked up!

A friend of mine took me and we had a birthday lunch together.

Hubby worked all day and offered to take me out for dinner, but neither one of us were very hungry! We will probably go tomorrow.

His birthday is Monday .. so we have a few days to celebrate!

I chopped ice for 20 min and walked into the dollar store for about 15

Had an exciting nite here with etta catching a mouse and me screaming for her to drop it and then it running under the fridge

It was hurt. I cant move the fridge. Not sure how i will handle this

I feel like such a dummy tutu. Happy birthday. I was lying in bed and for somereason i was trying to remember allthe kids and their spouses birtdays and i couldnt...then i woke up and saw your birthday post. I wish i could get it together

Im glad you had a good day and will have a nice dinner soon

Was able to give support to the neighbor that helps me all the time-that felt good

Friday-Hey guys I passed my tests. 88 on the easy one and 100 on the hard one. Go figure.

Thanks for all the support, I sure needed it.

Was really happy until I came to work. Trouble in paradise.

See you all tomorrow!

Congrats on the test scores, Aklnwf! Thank about how hard you studied to achieve that when work stinks.

I shoveled this morning and reinjured my shoulder, so I only did half the drive. I wanted it and the walk clean for the woman who comes once a month to clean for me. I'd hate to have her slip bringing in her vacuum etc. This is one luxury I give myself and I don't want to lose it.

I really need to ask for help when more snow comes tomorrow.

I stayed home Wed--felt awful, but it was not the flu or a cold. I think I get worse in a full moon--hard time balancing. Today I felt great and walked around the classroom a lot. And I got my projects graded.

Finished my 30 days of parasite herbs, so tomorrow I start on the probiotics again.

Hiker .. I wish you and kayak would get less SNOW! You guys need a BREAK!

It was sunny here today but the high was only about 35 degrees or so. Tomorrow will be 50...much better!

My helper came today for 2 hours and will be back next week to do the floors. She is so sweet and we really enjoy having her around. She's totally adopted now.

I hope kam is doing OK .. I know she has been going through some tough stuff lately.

[group hug]

AK .. What were the tests for?? I missed that part. Congrats!

Able to be on my feet for the 10 walk on the forest trail this am.

Brain is falring. I meant to get an ice pack before I laid back down but forgot. Resting a bit here , then I will get back up and get the ic pack if needed. I hoe it is not needed.

Not able to read what others wrote yet this am. Hoping to come back and read later. Typing this with eyes clsed as I lie here.

Cold out. Face hurt and is defrosting now.

Saw a bit of the sun coming down the mtn of rocks this am. I like seeing that.

No sunny places to walk this am as the sunw as still behind trhe mtns

WAnted to drive further or walk further...but glad I listend to my body and just di dthe 10 min on my feet as that did me in.

Tookt he trail that has the up and down part at the beginning before the trail levels out.

need to stick to the level dirt road ....next time...less difficult on ones health. Try and remember that KAM if you can. [Smile]

Saturday-9 hour day at work with only 3 hours sleep. [Eek!]

Trouble sleeping cause of work issues.

Hiker-Thanks for the congrats. Watch that shoulder. I've got a messed up shoulder too and I sure have to be very careful what I do. I have to be careful with lifting and doing anything over head.

TuTu-I have to do continuing ed credits to maintain my insurance producer state license. Every 2 years I have to have 24 credit hours. Yeah! I don't have to study for 2 more years!

Kam-Glad to hear that you're getting out and about. I'm still trying to take it easy since that bout of pneumonia.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I need to get on my exercise bike again. Went grocery shopping this morning--in the snow.

I am sick of the snow, but my neighbor assured me he would snow blow or shovel me out for church tomorrow. The problem here is that it is so flat that it just blows and gets very slick.

I am sure my shoulder just needs a vacation, but I definitely do not want this to turn into a chronic problem like my elbows and Achilles.

we're getting a heavy wet snow it's really pretty I don't plan to shovel at all the plow guy will have to come and I usually give his boys money to do the patios

did wash 3 days worth of dishes I couldn't keep up with them because my thumb got cut pretty bad

and I spent a few minutes outside putting a stake in the snow so the plow guy doesn't bury my baby birches

Yes-these shoulders are a pain...mine get worse with exercise but never get completely better wit rest. Pt makes them worse. No real dx. A lot of us are dealing with them now

Eye problems too.

Someday all this stuff will be explained

Able to be on my feet for 10 min in the forest this am.

Doing well enough to enjoy watching Rosie enjoy herself. She was a happy camper.

No breaks this time...on my feet the whole time but walked on the dirt road that is more flat...makes a difference.

vision is not working well enough to read your posts yet. hoping i can later.
