This sounds like an absolute nightmare for insurance/medical/pharm industry if this takes off. An impartial, empirical evidence based platform for patients to communicate with each other. Good.

I missed how he got well? It did not mention Lyme at all,
article went from him bedridden and very ill,

to creating another Internet forum for medical issues?

Regardless, hope he is better now, seems like a hardworking enterprising young man.

He's not better yet. Says he's still sick but this energizes him.

He started the page for all kinds of sick people who have ME (chronic fatigue) symptoms, not just Lyme.

I don't think it was his intention in the short article to go through all the things that helped him get to the level of wellness that he is at now. Just like all of us, he had his own path, and all our paths are different. The point was that people can share on the site based on their own personal symptoms with people who have similar symptoms.

I'm pretty excited for him and his new endeavor.

I agree, quite a young man, I am happy for him.

I'll have to go back and find the group he created and visit it for support.

Thanks so much everyone! I was a lot more active here a few years ago and met some lifelong friends here.

On HealClick, we gather everyone's treatment experiences (on a 1-5 scale) and do our best to make sense of these results. Here are some preliminary findings: http://bit.ly/1cAZFHO Note that this is NOT supposed to be a representation of the lyme community, but simply a snapshot of our early audience.)

The ultimate goal is to see which treatments are rated highest for medical profiles, not just diagnosis. By medical profiles I mean symptoms, labs, biographical data. Someone mentioned earlier about creating an absolute nightmare. That is the goal [Smile]
