At least it is a new moon and not a full moon.

Thanks for that wonderful photo and chart.

I am one who loves the full moon, and it seems the moon loves me. I am so lucky to face the "right" direction for the best moon exposure to be able to sit in the dark and just let the light quietly shine on me.

Too bad my deck has a street light that shines on it, though. I wish city lights would all turn off at night!

Reminds me that I should seek out a telescope. Only once was I able to see the moon through a telescope but it's really changed my relationship with it.

So has that Canadian astronaut who sings and play guitar in space (among his scientific duties, of course) he's back home again, though. Wow! His videos of space are amazing.

I love Google Advanced Search. I just plugging in: "Canadian astronaut who sings"

and it gave me: Chris Hadfield, a Canadian astronaut who sings & plays guitar ...

I'll be back later with the best clip of his David Bowie song. Just lovely.

Harrrumph!!

I used to love moons too until my body became a bacterial dumping ground, haha.

Hopefully the bacteria rest during a super moon, so I can get some rest ! [Smile]

PS. March 16 Sounds a bit sketchy!

I'm still very ill, lyme and other TBD were never treated and I just manage as best I can. Still, the moon has never affected me, other than wanting to just be with in the dark and quiet.

I'd live in a hut in the woods if I could. So, it has a quieting effect on me.

I don't understand why some are affected so differently but it's not just about lyme or TBD because I've had that in spades for decades and the moon has never even irritated me.

Could be parasites are more affected, I've read that some say. Maybe there are other "pulls" and my brain just needs some "pulling" but it just puts me in deeper touch with nature.

I'm sorry that others have harsh reactions and wonder if there is anything that lessens that?

If it's due to a magnetic lunar "pulling" or pressure, support measures that lessen inflammation may help.

And, if it is about the kind of "pull" that affects tides, would the timing of low or high tide (to one's closest ocean) make any difference?

Gael knows a lot about parasites, wonder what she might say about this, especially anti-inflammatories that help.

I also wonder if CRANIAL SACRAL therapy at just the right moon phase would help - as if the brain or neck nerves are pinched or pressured, anything that relieves that should help reduce "pull" of the moon, I would think (in italitics with a hint of a question mark).

WIND, though, and that's a different experience. a very literal "pull" for my body. Wind makes me very ill in various ways, no thanks to the inner ear system. It's been very windy here the past two days and I can't even stand or think straight!

For those in lovey-dovey romantic relationships, take note and be prepared for Valentine's Day, itself, can make all kinds of folks go Ga-Ga:

February 14th - Full Snow Moon

And those who WISH they were in a lovey-dovey romantic relationship, get prepared, too. And be careful!

My situation does not suit that kind of notion at all and if I slip and start wishing, I just try to keep in mind all the other kinds of love in the world . . . and celebrate all love and be glad that humans have such capacity.

I giggled when I seen that 2-14 moon. Hope that moon is an easy one. Might be a night for fighting instead of loving.

Steve, thanks for posting this moon thing. Your timing is great.

Last month so many people missed our support meeting because the moon had done our army in.

Too many times the full moon has fallen on our Lyme support group meeting week. I had been able to put one foot in front of the other and go...

but this January moon stopped all board members but one. That is highly odd.

I talked with the other co-founder and told her I was going to see how the full moons fell because if our 3rd Thursday of each month tends to be the worst week, maybe we should move it back to second week of month.

Sure enough the 2nd week is also a issue. So we'll need to discuss to see what is best. Some moons are no big deal. Others are knock downs.

Hum? January Wolf moon? I wonder if it made us howlers?

Personally, my inflammation was thru the roof. I felt like that mack truck had ran me over.

But to be honest, I had some sx from my Dec tick bite and I did a rife session for Lyme on Tues Jan 14th and my sx scared me so bad that I did a much longer rife session usual.

24 hrs later, usual reaction time for me, is when I was slammed. So I'd say my body with the slam of bad guys and that moon effect was just too much.

Keebler it is an inflammation effect. Not a my knees hurt from Lyme type inflammation.

But a total body, my head is going to come through my scalp. Brain fog and fatigue.

IMHO it is a parasite reaction. But is it the parasites that comes with the tick bites that gave us lyme & co. Or is it all the bad guys like, lyme, bart, protozoa all are ticked off and active at the same time?

Why would some find it calming and others find it he!!?

Anyone? Look at March, the Worm Moon? Oh my!

Pam
