Something good happened. Want to share it.

Had eyes checked 2 months ago.

Bought 2 new sets glasses&lenses.

Had vision checked two weeks ago.

Vision improved due to lyme, needed prescription change.

Went today to pay for the new lenses, and the eye clinic gave me my two new sets of lenses for free!

Wow! That helped me so much! Saved me about $400.

Big hearts!

Do you mean your vision improved from treatment? (I hope!)

Why did they give them to you free??

You are one lucky duck! [Smile]

(PS .. I've had my eyes improve from taking mangosteen juice.)

Yes eyes have improved from treatment [Smile]

Went from 20/50 with glasses on to 20/30 with glasses on and 2.75 to 1.50 in one eye.

Whatever that means but its good.

I tried to pay but they said no.

So I thanked them profusely and then hightailed it out of there.

Haha.

Sure was nice of the doc and them to do that.

My vision changed when I was on long term antibiotics, then changed back when I went off of them.

Wow! That's FANTASTIC!!!!!

Which antibiotic helped you? Do you think it was one of the quinolines or something else?

IV roceph + high dose doxy

Yes, what angels to do that.

It has been very hard expense wise (as you all know first-hand), so for them to do the lenses for me is a real blessing.

And of course, to reverse lyme and co eye damage is a HUGE blessing!

Woo hoo!!!! That's so good! That's great about the bonus contacts. It's so hopeful to hear such wonderful progress. [Smile]

I'm so glad you posted Greta!

I'm starting rocephin next month. I hate this eye stuff.
