Been in treatment two almost two years. Still treating aggressively with iv,oral and sups.

Two weeks ago my shortness of breath became worse, after a chest X-Ray my pcp diag viral bronchitis. I don't have a cough.my llmd had me stop abx for now.

Today my breathing is a little better but my llmd sent me for a ct scan. It showed centrilobular emphysema and a small nodule. I'm waiting for llmd to call back with bloodwork results and what to do next.

It's late Friday night and I'm a wreck over this. Needing support I hope someone is out there

munchin--I will say prayers for you tonight.

Sounds like your LLMD has some sense to do further follow up!

Hang in there!

Blessings.

At one point i was on ten meds to help me breathe. I was dx with sathma, chronic broncitis and i pulmonarys words"one step from copd"

I was txing lyme at the time and forced to teach in a building withbad air

I came back from that and rarely have breathing priblems now

A friend with lyme had many nodules on lungs and was dx with sarcoidosis. She has no health insurance so did limitrd tx

I have seen nodules go away with bartonella tx...and read about that hear a lot too

My friend did buhner tea for a yer and the next time they looked for nodules they couldnt find them

So try to calm down some...the stress isnt good for you...worrying wont help

Try to rest and as doc gives you more info think it thru-share here if it helps...just take one step at a time

Come back soon and let us know whts going on

Anyone with emphysema?

Are you treating for babesia?

Just for the heck of it, I googled emphysema and babesia and came up with this in an animal with babesia found in blood:

The lungs were emphysematous

I know you are not a rhinoceros, but maybe this occurs in humans too.

I have no clue if your virus could do this also.

I at times felt that Lyme changes into a virus to avoid the antibiotics.

I have had lung problems and have had babeseosis.

I have been told I should be monitored for small airways disease or already have it.

I was exposed to a bunch of asbestos on my job and was inhaling it ground up and blown into the air i was breathing.

Went to the er and got a breathing treatment, I feel a little better. I'm getting an appointment with a pulmonary and not sure about lyme and co treatment.
