I got my big butt up early this morning and walked around the lake close to the house. I huffed and puffed and told mom to get ready for me cause I was coming!!!
red faced I finally made it home.
even tho the doc said to loose alot I'm jus taking it one day at a time.
the uti is still here. he had to change me to amoxy cause I jus couldn't take the microbid. made me sicker than a dog. hopefully this will do it.
wish it would cool down. 100 yesterday. can't wait for fall.

It takes a while for your body to adjust .. don't quit too soon! Keep the blood glucose levels low by eating low glycemic foods.
Hang in there!

My hubby loses weight by thinking about it, i eat lettuce and run a mile gaining ten pounds all the way.
Course the numbers and quantities are stretched a bit.
Go Randi! If you can walk in the heat - you are my hero!

How hot is it outside when you walk? Do you walk before dawn?
Maybe be it is cooler there, I don't see how.....
Posted by randibear (Member # 11290) on :
it was 75 at 7 am this morning. when it gets over 85 it's too hot for me. I have to walk when it's cooler cause I can't tolerate the heat.
fort worth is jus starting to cool off.

Ok...im joining you randi. Doc said i have to walk 30 min 3x a week and stop eating red meat and whole dairy
Im startung tinight. I have to leave the truck at the mechanic around the corner to get step ups on. So i plan to walk back with walker. I think it will take about ten minutes. If that goes well i'll try to do it twice then 3 x...til im up to 30 min ,just wish the pollen wasnt so bad...
