I found it odd how that article says that Willy B discovered borrelia yet they insist that Steere discovered lyme.

No, Steere had a lot of very ill people asking him what was wrong. He did not know. He may have been the one to just call it

"the disease we have no clue about so we will name it after this little town right here" (Lyme, CT).

Willy B. is the one who figured out the cause, very specific spirochetes to become named after him (Bb). It should never have been continued to be call lyme after that time.

In fact, Steere thought it was a virus, said no treatment. Even after it turned out to be bacteria, he never budged off the line that it was not serious enough to need anything more than a dab of treatment.

Steere discovered what still is not known.

Lyme changes into a virus to avoid the ABX.

Add this to the other three forms.

Cyst
L form
bio film ones.
