This site seems to work well. I put in 4 common symptoms for lyme disease - and Lyme came up 1st on the list....

Give it a try!

Wow! I put in

rash
headaches
dizziness
muscle aches

Got Lyme at the top of the list. I'll try again without a rash and see what happens.

Round 2:

headaches
muscle pain
joint pain
dizziness

Lyme was still at the top of the list.

symptoms: Hyperacusis, Vertigo, Pain, Fatigue, Seizures

location: North America

answers in order listed:

Migraine, Brucellosis, Deliruim Tremens, Alcohol Hangover,

Heart Attack, Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury,

Pulmonary Embolism, Mal de Debarquement, Antiphospholipid Syndrome . . .

#14: Celiac . . . #19: CFS . . . #20: Lyme . . .

----
So, it got Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome correctly (diagnosed by CT scan) and Celiac.

Funny how it chose CFS over Lyme, though, and lyme can in only at #20.

It chose alcohol problems (#3, #4) far above lyme. The last time I had too much to drink was 40 years ago, in college. And I learned fast how to prevent that, just don't drink if it makes me sick. Why does it assume my symptoms are alcohol related?

I'll give it kudos for considering Brucellosis in the #2 spot - but the #1, migraines is such a cop-out. As are some others on the list which are still symptoms, not the core cause.

Brucellosis has not been one of the several TBD I've been diagnosed with but never tested for it. I am curious how that found its way to the top of the list and not lyme, though.

Out of interest I looked around a bit as I know I've seen it listed as one of the tick-borne infections that many don't think about, so, in case anyone else wonders:

Brucellosis

Excerpt:

. . . in humans is usually associated with the consumption of unpasteurized milk and soft cheeses made from the milk of infected animals, primarily goats, infected with Brucella melitensis and with occupational exposure of laboratory workers, veterinarians, and slaughterhouse workers. . . .

Reservoirs of Brucella infection in nature

Excerpt:

. . . All Brucella-infected animals considered in the paper are tentatively divided into two groups.

The first includes most of the wild and domestic animal species, birds, and ticks that acquire the infection farm animals, the main hosts of Brucella.

The second group includes animals (wild reindeer, hares, bison, and probably saiga antelopes, dogs, and marine mammals) which may carry Brucella regardless of infection prevalence in the main hosts. . . .

Got lyme at top too. I think they need to add the "common" to it. CFS and b-12 and depression were labelled as such, which is interesting because I've had all of those.

Pretty good!

I think brucellosis showed up on one of mine above.
