Sure I said I like the smell
Said too much ozone is a pollutatae just like everything else.
Didnt know that. Is there such a thing as too much ozone in a house??
I thought it made my sinuses feel better but maybe not.
What do YOU think??

- Oh, Don, if you feel better and no lung discomfort or irritation to eyes, nose, etc. that's a good thing. If it smells good to you, likely set at a good setting.
I'm guessing that maybe your machine also has an IONIZER - that does make people feel better, like the air at the beach.
Ozone & an Ionizer can each help the air in different and complementary ways, though. Ozone - at just the right setting - can help compensate for some of the toxic gases in our homes from glues, carpets, etc.
HOUSE PLANTS can do this much better, though, especially BAMBOO.
But with OZONE separately or even with an ionizer . . .
It depends on what ozone setting you are using, and the levels. It should be VERY low. Too much ozone in the air can be caustic to the lining of the lungs.
If TOO much ozone, lungs can literally be burned & damage from too much, though (and other mucous membranes, eyes).
I only know this as when I moved into my new apt. (16 years ago) with fresh pain and new carpet . . . my MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities) had me clobbered even before moving in. So, I stayed at a friends for a few days when
borrowing / renting 2 ozone machines. My ND loaned me one and told me quite emphatically NOT to breathe it set on anything but the lowest settings and even then to air flush 2 x a day.
I was to put them both up to a rather high setting, plug at least one in by the door. Leave. Upon returning every few hours, hold my breath, open the door, pull the plug and dash out immediately.
Wait 20 minutes with the door open . . . dash in & turn off the other. Open windows and either leave again or wait 20 more minutes for a full air flush before going back in. -

- If you no longer have the owner's manual, you can likely find it on line. But, then, consult a different source (a real expert source) about the correct levels as some machine booklets may or may not be true.
And be certain the controls are accurate and working.
Hope all this helps. I'm am comforted in that you appear not to be irritate by this but if someone coming into to your home was . . . that's certainly something to consider & check levels.
In any case, be sure to air flush all levels of home 2 x day. The upper quarters especially important as gases can collect at the top -- even just from a gas stove / water heater.
Gotta get you (or keep in) in shape to join a Rock 'n Roll band, eh? -

- This book was given to me as I moved into a new apartment years ago. Very nice layout and good detail.
Not sure if it discusses it here but since I don't like moist dirt in my apt., I grow all my plants in WATER. The water never gets moldy or icky at all. Pretty amazing.

Great idea Keebler bout the water.
It is humid here like where you live and sometimes I find fungus on top of the soil of my houseplants.
Can I transition them to water when they are big plants?
Or will it shock them?

Best to consult a good book or call a plant shop and ask their guidance. Maybe a search on the topic would bring up some clues.
The plants that work best for me in water are phellodendron, offshoots of an umbrella kind of plant and even small fig tree branches. These are now about 16 inches tall, or off to the side. Very nice and full.
I don't know about larger ones or different species. -

my mom had one of those ionic pro things. she had two large cats with heavy fur.

I saw a. LL chiro last week near the shore where every thing is moldy
They had pretty strong ozone in office
I read from epa and the directions on my machine it can kill ppl,plants and pets...but i have a construction grade ozone generator
They do sell units tht wont make enough to kill things. And the woman in the docs office said she always feels better with more energy when working in it
So i guess it is really impt to read instructions for your particular machine

- Some hotels that offer "scent free" rooms use them to air out / correct air in rooms before new guests check in [when one calls ahead and specifically requests a scent-free room, that is].
There is one hotel that did this for me and it worked out VERY well. Again, it's all about that setting, degree, time. -
