Hey Don!!! Whazzup??

Speaking of cowboy .. I ran into the nicest cowboy while in Texas. To quote Clint Eastwood, he made my day!

Aren't you a sweet one. Really know how to impress the girls, don't you? Got a pink hammer in your tool belt so when they show up you can convince them to get to work? HA!

Actually I love doing roofs (lots of the guys were afraid of heights), but hauling bundles up the ladder might be a bit rough on me these days.

I don't mind mixing mud and slapping it on either cement or drywall, and I can tape corners picture perfect too, but I am NOT a sander. You'd have to pay me double to do that.

And you'll laugh... it took me three days, but I just got done cutting the entire LAWN with a weed-eater- in 90 degree heat with mosquitoes playing my song all day long.

Mower broke down (obviously) and as soon as I got done with cutting all the grass the neighbor showed up an hour later- ONE HOUR LATER- with the mower he'd promised me I could use 2 weeks earlier. Ugggggg!

So where would you like old grumpy pants to start Cowboy Don?

by George I think I do have a 'pink' one.

Here's the deal. Its red right now,,,but I will leave it out in the sun.

By the time YOU get here it WILL be pink and sun faded

And you said guys cant think....pfffff

Actually havent used a hammer in quite a while

All is put down with a air gun...Even old guys can run one of those all day compared to a hammer.

Ok... here's my story. Of course I love cowboys!! (always have) I must say that hubby grew up on a ranch/farm.

We were north of Abilene, Texas a few weeks ago and when we stopped for gas I headed into the convenience store.

As I approached the door on the right, a cowboy (complete with hat and boots) was coming OUT the door on my left. He immediately jumped over to my door and opened it for me.

I said, "Thanks so much!" He replied, "Yes, Ma'am!" I swooned. He was in his 30's or so. Guess he was helping a little old lady. [Big Grin]

Then when I was sitting by the door waiting for my husband to finish buying goodies, I saw a cowboy going out the door. He was wearing SPURS. Real working spurs!

I was in heaven.

OK! It is all YOUR fault!!! Was going to respond, but decided to take a quick shower to get the bug spray off me first. That activity and working outdoors made me hungry.

I sliced some chicken off of a whole cooked one in the fridge. Thought I'd make it tastier, so I got out a new bottle of BBQ sauce. Long story short- had a lot of trouble getting that plastic stuff off the top and when it finally came off- surgery was required- I immediately shook the bottle.

Being rather annoyed at that point I shook it hard!

Forgot I had taken the top off as far as it would go before the plastic surgery.

Sticky Fingers BBQ sauce is thinner than most. I know this now- didn't before, but tis so.

I saw it close up all over my counter top, the clean dishes in the drying rack, the cabinet door and across the floor. PUDDLES of it laying there. Not to mention being splashed all over my clean clothes that I JUST put on.

There was only about 1/4 of a bottle that failed to take a flying lesson tonight, so some of it is on my plate and now I am back at the computer and here you are laughing at me.

Thanks for not helping me clean it up tuff guy!

And because you didn't, all I have to say is to take your almost pink hammer and ... and .... well, never mind. HA!

[lol]

Oh boy, TC!! Better you than ME! [Big Grin]

I dropped an opened can of beans one time and it splattered all over the place. I found splatters on the ceiling the next day.

Good to see you KAM.

[hi]

Well at least you found the splatters the next day instead of when you had company and the beans started breaking free from the ceiling. HA!

But, yuck on that mess!

I didnt know pickles could petrify, True story,,,,no joke.

New employee at work dropped a pallet from pretty high. Looked like a bomb went off back there.

High on the walls paint was splashed. There was a cart too close to the action.

One whole side is 'covered' in paint and 'pickles' as that was what was on the pallet.

Instead of taking it over and hosing it off,,,it got pushed to the side in the cleanup effort and forgotten.

When I saw it I wondered to myself how long those painted pickles was going to ride on that end of the cart.

This all happened 3 to 4 months ago and the pickles are riding along just fine yet.

They have acquired a layer of fuz from dust tho. And slightly dried out,,,but still pickles.

Might be petrified. Should start a pool bet on how long they will still be right there and how petrified pickles can get.
