This could be a publicity nightmare for us Lymies if they find that her Lyme was leaky breast implants all along. The article is suggesting it may have aggravated her Lyme symptoms, but already the articles are popping up on the net whether it was Lyme all along.

Oh, my.

1. Glad they finally figured this one part out

2. How in the world was this not considered previously? Or multiple tests done to properly assess / monitor silicone? Even saline implants can be very bad with all the plastic casing.

3. And, yes, few will likely get that she still had / has lyme and that can be very bad, indeed and it will take time to sort out this new information and how it impacted lyme.

While it could allow the public to think less of those with lyme as they'd say "see, we knew it could be THAT" (I think the term "lymie" itself can be "bad P.R." and paints a concept of those with lyme in a demeaning light,to the public who think it sounds like a Brownie troupe).

Has she ever talked about how she got diagnosed? I worry that a lot of people think they have "chronic Lyme" when they may likely never have had it.

Of course, I'd rather over treat than under treat, but if Yolanda never had Lyme, it is a blow against those that do, adding fuel to the fire.

What interests me is the idea that Lyme sets up the immune disregulation..for me it was the nail in the coffin that aggravated everything else- allergies, chronic fatigue, etc.

I did about 6-7 months antibiotics, combination therapy. I am pursuing parasite treatment and mold treatment from chronic exposure ( flood in basement). Lyme was only PART of my problem. It may re-emerge in the future or I may be reinfected, who knows.

But having these other issues doesn't mean Lyme wasn't a huge part of what happened to weaken me to be suceotible to other things. Maybe that's what happened to Yolanda. Solve one issue, 2 more pop up.

I'm am surprised that she hadn't looked into silicone issues before.

Yes, this could be damaging & we will keep an eye out to see how it plays out.

I feel weird about the term "Lymies", but it is quick to type & to the point. Maybe we should come up with a quick & easy acronym instead. Maybe something like CIL (Chronically Infected with Lyme, CIL's), or something better than this.

Now check out this breast implant video clip, as the person had developed fibromyalgia, neuro issues, CFS, & other issues. This is not the complete video & the earlier part of the video details how the husband did not believe her & discusses some more of her symptomology.

She was infected with bathroom mold fungi, Aspergillus Niger.

This is a true example why you have to be careful what celebrity you pick to represent a disease. It's kind of funny, because I came across this article as I was watching the documentary "The Armstrong Lie.

I don't want to compare Lance to Foster, because Armstrong is 10x worse. But a lot of you boosted this woman up, ignoring the fact this woman comes from a materialistic show that has no benefit to society. Women bragging about being 1%ers, how much money they have, yelling at each other, acting like total idiots... Young girls in our society watch these worthless TV shows and try to imitate these women as they grow up...

This was not a person that should of represented the disease at all, knowing her background. She should of never been allowed to speak at the Lyme Research Alliance Gala.

But hey, money talks, bull**** walks...

I'm tired of the society we're in, where I constantly hear about people like her in the news, while millions of others are suffering. Hopefully this will stop the Yolanda Foster articles from rolling in.

I'm not at all surprised something like this happened.

Chances are she still has Chronic Lyme, but I'm sure the silicone removal will help her. Either way it makes the disease look bad...

Remember they gave this woman an award Lyme Research Alliance Gala....

I feel sorry with anyone that has a tick disease.

this is hell.

if it turns out she doesn't have lyme or anything else then , ok. so she made a mistake. we all make mistakes. if we all werent' so sick and broke from this we could rise up and create enought noise to make Yolanda seem like a small ant.

but , we don't . we sit and wait for a savior.

tsk tsk

I am robbed of a life.

I'm sure she had Lyme, which complicates everything. I hope she will be able to recover from this.
