I find that documentary to be extremely well put together. I do see all of the politics involved and sadly I see it every day at work.

Currently I work as a chemist for a manufacturing facility making over the counter drugs and supplements. I am not sure how much longer I will be employed as a chemist though.

When I was younger I wanted to become a microbiologist and that was my major. I loved it however I ended up moving over into chemistry.

Sadly the Bell's Palsy hit me when I was in my junior year and I did not finish my degree. I still managed to become a chemist through hands on experience in the workplace.

As well as at home. Google is awesome for data.
I still would love to be a microbiologist but the truth is, it is a dangerous profession. It can be deadly.... due to politics.... not the bacteria themselves.

I want to become actively involved in helping the Lyme Community. It is difficult and I have been living with this for years and how sad it is to fight just to get a doctor to agree.

I do not really need a doctors approval or belief in me that I have it, I work with scientists, a chemical engineer and a microbiologist both whom are working with me and helping me in natural ways.

I am not too certain how much the natural ways will help, I am always open as nature itself is very powerful. Trust me, I know first hand.

I have my own personal Nikon laboratory microscope here at home and I need to order more blank slides for it. I am going to prepare my own smears and stains of my blood and see what I can see.

I have always known Lyme disease existed, well before I ever went into the sciences. However when you realize you are a victim of it, the whole ordeal becomes surreal.

My head is pounding as I write this and I cannot sleep. As time goes on know you all have a friend in me, and I hope I get a chance to know you all. This is a journey none of us can really take alone.

I am going to attempt to get some sleep, I have to get ready for work later on. Have a blessed day everyone and I sincerely wish for everyone to smile at least once today. We all owe that to ourselves.

Bye for now.

There is a thread somewhere here dealing with people who have done what you are planning to do --use their own microscope to find borrelia. Try the search function to locate it. Maybe you can add interesting posts to the thread. If you don't find it, my memory may be faulty, then start your own thread.

Best wishes to you. Glad you were able to see the documentary. It is eye opening.

Have you seen the Microscopy Thread in Medical Questions?

Very glad to have you in our corner.

As far as natural supplements, remember that many drugs are made from plants. Plants WORK!

Plants are very powerful, more so than people give them credit for. They are one of the few living things that can harness the power of the sun. Now that is amazing.
