These two guys are fishing for 100 plus pound tunas in the ocean off Hawaii in "KAYAKS"???

The big fish can pull them out to sea they say.

Plus their is sharks all around them.

Hi Don
I was wondering were you have been.

No I haven't been with sharks but I have been towed
around by big catfish.

I was in Wyoming this summer in the Dodge diesel 4x4. The transmission didn't give me any trouble at all. Now I can say I finally got it right.

It was a few things Dodge didn't get right from the factory.

The torque converter, It is now a custom built billet one with Dodge viper parts inside.

There is now a thrust washer on the low reverse pinion which is now 6 instead of 4 .

The rear thrust washer is now twice the size and covered with Teflon.

All shed metal shavings from the factory eventualy totaling the transmission.

Just workin

I leave at 4:30 am and get home at 10 PM

What I got a kick out of is while fishing they got

blood all over the ocean from fish they caught

Then the sharks were all arounnd and bumping their kayaks

while they were dangling their feet in the ocean

Sounds like you bullet proofed your truck

Was thinking all day what I have done to equal your tranny fixes.

How do you put a 30" door in a 28" hole???

Answer is VERY carefully. Helps to have a hole stretcher,,,I dont.

So background is I changed this stairwell and basement stairs to make the whole thing more use able.

Changed door way from right angle to stairs to straight on.

ALL I had to work with was a 28" hole,,,so I improvised on the run.

Did something I have never done before and never heard of any one doing it.

Half way thru this project I had a wild idea. I decided to "BEND" the wall to make it work

I actually made the wall bend by 2 " so I had the proper opening space. And the door would swing properly.

The other unique to this stairwell is----I lined it with plywood. 'NOW' I can hang a coat hook

or storage shelf where ever I want,,,and it doesnt scuff like drywall which would have been normal

If I dont like this down the road I can always hang drywall right over it.

And I didnt take the window trim off, took plaster off lathes, left laths on to hold

insulation there and slid the plywood underneath where the plaster was. Another different approach.

I only wish I was as skilled at mechanical wonders like you are!!!!!

Wow That was a stretch?? HE HE HE!!

I am looking at a house in town. Has a huge garage and a two car barn.

House is at least 100 years old, needs lots of fixing but is very solid with good sill plates.

Barn has a small little shack hooked to it. I opened the door and it is a DOUBLE HOLE'R outdoor crapper in there. TO FUNNY !!!!!

I hate to leave my home here after 35 years but I have a BAD ???? neighbor.
BAD BAD BAD!!!!

Oh MADDOG, the mental picture of your neighbors made me laugh so hard!

You know, I'm familiar with Eaton and surrounding areas so "FIAR" is the correct pronunciation for many of these folks... [Smile]

Makes for interesting people watching. But I agree, don't want them as immediate neighbors! Too many problems!!!

I'm glad to hear that you haven't had any more stroke symptoms lately. Hope you will continue to get better and never experience anything like that again. Do you have a good neuro doc to follow up with now? I need to get one for myself but other things keep taking priority.

The new property that you are considering in town sounds like a nice option. There are always positive and negative trade offs when you move. sometimes it's hard to move too when you've lived in one place for a long time.

I just moved from my house in January. It was a big move. Hard transition. Long story as to why so won't go there. Used to live in very rural area, land, trees, gardens, privacy,...

Now live in a condo. Lots of neighbors. Old people that are grumpy. Can't even feed the birds in the winter because some crazy old man down the way, not next door, thinks that the birds are a "neusance", said that they pooped on his patio furniture. So HOA says remove bird feeder ASAP or pay huge fine.

It wouldn't have bothered me much if same old man didn't have bird feeders (multiple) himself! So his birds don't poop but apparently my birds did? Like I said earlier, Crazy!

Maybe you should try to check out the town property & neighbors somehow before you seriously consider purchasing it? Somehow spend as much time there as possible during an evening/ night. Then you could see if new neighbors had any obvious disturbing habits.

Hope things work out for you no matter what you decide.
