Suggest possibly getting a small bottle of iodine and painting a 2 x 2 inch square of it on arm or leg to allow it to absorb. With table salt being replaced with "sea salt" we already don't get enough iodine on a regular basis. We need iodine to counter radiation effects in the thyroid. See info below.
"The thyroid gland absorbs both stable and radioactive iodine and cannot determine the difference between the two. When you take the tablets, the thyroid becomes “full” and will be unable to absorb any more iodine — either stable or radioactive — for the next 24 hours."
