My doc ordered a Vit D Hydroxy test that is not covered by my insurance. He told me we could omit it if it is not covered.
Can I simply scratch through it?
I've tried this before with no luck, but with LabCorp's changes in the past few years, i wonder if I can do it now?

You do have the right to refuse any test even if it is on the MD order form. I did that last year after the nurse blew my vein.
There wasn't enough blood to do all the tests, so I picked the ones I wanted for sure.

I don't think you have to scratch it. Just tell the tech you don't want it. You don't have to take *any* medical service you do not want.

Thanks, everyone!
It seems the answers go 50-50. I love the confusing world of Lyme (not!).
Maybe I will just try refusing and see what happens. I will let you know if it works.
