The gut summit ended the same day another one started, www.fatsummit.com This one goes through Feb 1.

It's about what is healthy fat and unhealthy fat, and it's quite a discussion about food that's good for us and food that isn't, and also lifestyle choices, so I am finding it interesting. I just wasn't expecting another summit so quickly!

They are repeating Day 1 (Jan 25's 4 speakers) as well as showing Day's 2 five speakers.

For anyone who might be interested, you can register there and then take a look at who's speaking about what and choose to watch whoever you're interested in. They all know their stuff.

I have heard of two Lyme dietary protocols - one

that is low/no fat, the other is more Keto/Paleo
type.

What has your experience been? Thanks for the link to the Fat Summit.

NanceLynn, there is a book out, "The Lyme Diet: Nutritional Strategies for Healing From Lyme Disease," that is very good to read.

There are certain food parameters that are good for us to look at, as Lyme patients. Has to do with what are inflammatory foods, and what aren't. Would be good for everyone to know about, I think.

The journalist today is addressing the topic of low fat or high fat today, also the doctor is discussing it too -

My newfound summit series is fun and lively! Today's topics include interviewing a journalist of bad science (including public health pronouncements!), a lively food activist, emotional responses to food, food as medicine, and a doctor/researcher looking at obesity.

They are all at the top of their game and interesting and fun - highly recommended for those of you with the time and interest. I'm definitely getting a kick out of this one! Some of it is funny.

Avocados are mentioned constantly in both the Gut summit and this new Fat summit as being great for us. This summit is teaching what are good fats and what are bad fats. They like olive oil too!

Please watch some if you have the time - it's really about how to eat well.
