Hello <<<<< Lymenet family, and Those who Pray >>>>>,

TxCoord, has been having knee trouble. He had both knees replaced in 2010. One knee has started bruising, and being painful for no good reason. He recently had blood work done again, and X-rays of the knee.

Friday we find out what is going on, blood work looks normal. If there is problems w/ the titanium joint in his knee, VA would have to replace it,if it is minor, they might be able to cut in to the area, and adjust it.

Tomorrow, Friday we find out, what is up.We are praying and hoping that it doesn't require more surgery. We've both had more than enough surgeries to last a life time.

Those who pray,if you'd remember TxCoord for tomorrow, we'd so greatly appreciate it! Thank You!!!

Oh, dear, when it rains it pours! Adding TxCoord to the prayer list and asking the good Lord to make everything right and bless you both with good health.

Well, Doc (“I’m a surgeon, I like to cut things!” his words not mine – but he was funny!) showed us the x-ray and there is an unidentified “sliver” by the knee cap that is about 17 mm long and about 1 mm thick (“very thin” were his words and he held his thumb and forefinger about an inch or so apart to demonstrate length).

Radiologist doesn’t know if it’s a piece of the “glue”, or a piece of plastic (from the knee cap) or scarred tissue broken loose or a calcium deposit (no deposit – no return).

So Doc ordered a CT (Mar 14th) to get a better look as he is puzzled as well as to what it is. He doesn’t necessarily want to just hop and chop (which is a good thing in my book) but it would be a last resort.

Once again I am singing the Disney classic, “I’m waiting . . .”

*TxCoord* That doc could be in your road show! Glad as much as he likes to cut things that he still does not hop and chop.

*sweetmelissa* Welcome, glad you found this group!

*Silverwolf* a busy month ... at least we don't have shoveling snow on the list!!!

Nance [hi]
