I researched this because I was horrified at the idea that I'd been eating Roundup Muffins since the 90's. It's prolly not true you guys.

Something is causing this reaction to wheat in some people, and no one is researching it. All we get are denials like are seen at snopes where they are quoting a bunch of farm people. Is this research? They say the original claim about roundup is not based on research, but neither are the denials at snopes.

Someone needs to figure this out because that many reactions in people are caused by something, and not all hype.

I think it's something else. Or a combination of elses.

For example, when you eat a piece of bread you are also eating a cheap vitamin that contains not only very very cheap adulterated vegetable oil but also excipients in the form of cheap legal vitamins. Some are harmless BUT if you're MTHFR and you're chowing down your weight in the additive chemical folic acid then there could be a problem.

Add that to the inflammatory nature of starches or gluten sensitivity - also a problem.

25 percent of us will not do well with the folic acid. An additional 25 percent will not do well eating gluten. An additional 10 percent will have gut problems wherein starch/amylose is detrimental to vulnerable gut tissue.

If you're not in any of those groups then you're fine.

GMO crops of all kinds are designed with the Roundup already in it. They're made to be hardier against pests which means they've had their innate ( or implanted) abilities to deter insects amped up a thousandfold.

Those grafted, "natural"pesticides from GMO food could be what is irritating our guts; as the original natural plant based pesticides were designed to do just that. They had already designed themselves to be somewhat indigestible.

We have several friends who farm in SE Idaho. Every year (usually around Feb) all farmers - all - must attend training on the "new" strains of seeds/seedlings/product that are fertilizers, pesticides, and weed killers.

This is true for corn, wheat, potatoes, and sugar beets (the main crops for that area). If they do not attend the training, they are not allowed to sell their product.

If they do not use the product (and as some pointed out there are "Roundup resistant" taters and especially sugar beets) they are not allowed to sell.

It places a burden on the farmers and an even greater burden on the wise shoppers.

If you don't think your "foods" are full of pesticides, there isn't much convincing that will help.
