Just wondering out loud how is the best way to get a bad neck fixed???

Last regular doc visit I said its getting bad,,needs fixed.

Doc was running late as usual and just laughed,,,said I was just getting old,,,get used to it.

I pressed on and said is THIS normal??? Moving my head back and forth and the cracking and creaking was really loud.

His response,,,dont do that ,,,it creeps me out. (HEY doc what do you think it does for me???)

Now the last few weeks just turning a bit or looking up I get that electric jolt like lightning hit or touched the electric fence.

Question is---can I on Medicaid go to a neck/back doctor directly or do I HAVE to be refered there by the general doc?

Anybody fixed this at home with home brew fixes?

It actually feels like it is unstable,,dont know if it really is but what happens if it pops out of place if it takes a whack at work???

Its bad enough my knee pops out of place,,,but cant imagine a neck doing that. Laying on my couch watching TV and falling asleep seems to aggravate it.

Whats the difference of laying on a couch vs laying down in bed,,,both are just a cushion under us.

OUCH!! I would guess the problem with the couch is the pillow or lack of... or the couch is too soft or possibly too soft??

I know my neck hurts if I lie on the couch. The couch is too hard.

I don't know anything about Medicaid. Is there someone you can call to ask??

I'm so sorry you are suffering!!

OH! I have Medicare Advantage and don't need a referral...

You could call your doctor and ask for one if you need one. He may comply.

Stiff neck and creaking is common lyme symptom. It was my second worst sx. I just had attached ticks and pos test and neck is what bothers me the most now. Including the elec shocks
