Hi friends...husband is recovering from pnemonia can't spell that correctly....anyway, he has a follow-up doctor's appointment this morning.

Taking bets that we will once AGAIN get the statin, high cholesterol, and vaccination lecture...

Hey...there has not been ONE doctor's visit or hospital stay, no matter what it is for...they never have passed up the opportunity to tell us how very wrong thinking we are...we are such losers in their estimation.

This is the second follow up with this particular doctor...so, we will see if he pounds us again.

What do you think will happen?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if you hear the same speech!

I just gave the following links to another poster about statins:

There are doctors out there who try to intimidate their patients, thinking they are "all-knowing" because they have an "MD" after their name and resent their patients questioning them or for wanting healthier choices to treat their illnesses and problems.

I, for one, want a physician not to be condescending, friendly, one who listens to my concerns and answers my questions. Most of all, one who will work with me as a team to help and not belittle me.

Sad to say, we have had our share of experiences with the horrible ones, but there are some good ones out there too (son's LLMD, for one!).

I vote yes. Some mention of it will be made. And that is a shame.
