Are all of us okay??? I mean all things considered?
Unless I am missing something, a lot of folk that are usually on aren't around?
Was it the St.Patrick's Eve/Day crash? Just concerned it seems like so may of us are missing right now.
I know things are not the usual for us right now, didn't want to be we may be traveling yet again reasonably soon. Hoping things sort themselves out w/ our situation.
Everyone else relatively okay? Y'all are family and TrekC' and I are concerned. Good to see those that are able to be on here, concerned for those who don't seem to be around.
Thanks to the Tech support that got us running again after St. Paddy's. And thanks to each of our Moderators who help us keep it all together.

Hey Silverwolf and TrekC, So nice of you to be thinking about others.
Yesterday I read one chapter of Dr H's new book while I was recieving my 1st IVIG treatment.
Then a light bulb went off. Holy smokes, I haven't been able to read anything in over 3 months !
Small victories yet big victories for Neuro Lyme sufferers.
Yeah, I noticed the same thing too. Where is everyone ?

I to am hoping that no news is good news,it seems disconcerting tho' not to see a lot of our Lyme family here.
Have to keep reminding myself,slow and steady, Neuro Lyme is a real pain. Sometimes it is scary.
I had an odd experience today, I was trying to brush my teeth w/o drooling on myself,and had put my hand up to my chin.
It was truly weird,like my hand was on someone else's chin. I could see me in the mirror, but I don't often get that feeling,not on my own chin anyway. We are under more stress than usual, but still.
Now I wonder,just how hard did I hit my head back the end of December. or what else is up...?
That said it does seem like an odd day for certain, and I hope more of our Lyme family comes back on soon.
I'm hoping for good news when others can check back in. I know for me,it seems like I'm not progressing much,mostly so so. I still refuse to give up, but I am weary at this time.

I've been fighting some pain in chest area,but it may be allergy. Some grasses/weeds blooming here that I am quite allergic too. Hoping that is all it is!
How long were in in hospital for? I'm glad you're all right!

no I aint...he got a 186 dollar speeding ticket. I'm gaining weight like an elephant and my family wants me to send money home every month for my sister..and..my feet and legs are tingling and go numb..
my head pressure feels like it's going to explode and tinnitus is so bad I'm suffering hearing loss. can't even sleep now.
we switched to directtv from att and att still wants us to pay bills even tho we cancelled it. that's 300 right there.
need anymore????

Aklnwlf, glad you didn't have to stay any longer in the Hospital!!
Randi', hon' family can be difficult, we're going thru it w/ the estate situation, relative/heirs can definitely be hard to deal with.
Take a deep breath, telling myself the same thing. Neuro' Lyme is a real hassle, numbness and all.
I'm glad we have this board,sometimes we have to vent,and they understand here!
Next week they will be tearing up the road here, and you cannot drive on it,huge fines for anyone but Emergency vehicles. So we'll likely be out a couple days while they fix things.
It is gonna be interesting, we'll need to take our laptops w/ us so we can stay in touch.

Hi silver. I've been trying to get here since I saw you started this post
I've been busy...two major surgeries in 4 months...one unexpected cancer...and just before surgery we found small amount of mold in house
Good news is we got rid of the mold immediately in October...but couldn't put house back together until now. It should be done Monday
More good news testing on the cancer showed it probably didn't spread
Also my knee revision was a difficult surgery but successful once I got over the hump
And....my hot water heater broke...but I'm getting a new one monday!!! Finally hope to have enough hot water to get my creaking joints moving in the morning
Ana then of course it's spring...altho it seems mother nature is confused...Feb was warm and March cold and snowy....but all next week is above freezing.. So more good!
Thanks for asking....I don't think of myself as having active Lyme anymore.. But I believe Lyme is responsible for a number of disabling permanent conditions so I keep coming back here...it just seems where I belong
I hope things straighten out and get easier for you guys. Love ya.

Wow, no wonder you haven't been able to do much lately. I remember about the knee surgery. And glad the hardest part is all over with!
And it sounds wonderful that the cancer didn't spread. Sometimes I wonder if mold and mildew aren't a form of 'earth cancer' for lack of better descriptions.
We know there is some mold started here, and thank the Lord we are getting to be able to move to a better place. It may not be perfect but it is for us! God is good and saw our need!!!
It's gonna bea bit crazy, because four days over the next two weeks they'll be closing roads here. each time they are closed from 24 to 36 hours at a time, while they resurface and it cures.
The fines are pretty steep if you drive on the roads until they allow it. So we'll be heading to our other place in a few days to dust things,and light clean[ depending on energy levels.
Didn't get much done today, but hoping for more energy soon!
we do have a couple friends that are going to come and help pack, in between work and school.So it will get interesting soon.
Please know that we carry you in our tho'ts and hearts. We carry our Lyme family there, and to the Lord in prayer!

Hi silver. Yes a lot has happened to both of us. I think tx was I hospital last time we talked. It sounds like there was a good outcome there if he can help move. I hope so.
And I'm really glad you found a better place...tell me about it if you have time. I missed hearing about it when you told the others
I resting now. Just put last coat of sealer on kitchen sub floor. The carpenter is supposed to put vinyl down and close in and trim a few pieces of wall so kitchen will be done except for a few built in shelves in a corner and paint . this is the end of fixing the mold we found
I think a lot is written about mold and cancer and there is a connection
I also seem to be dealing with a condition involving mast cells. Tutu knew about it 2 yrs before me and I never connected her posts to my problems until last fall when things went crazy and I became allergic to everything
Her research and experience helped me get up to speed quickly and I seem to be able to manage it much better than many
She has a thread with a lot of info on it if you are interested
I hope the move goes good.
The road closures are a pain but so many obstacles in our life are a pain. As I get older I try to look at them as opportunities to grow. For me being patient doesn't come easily. So things like blizzards and losing elec for long periods help me practice that
Take care...when do you plan to be totally moved. I'm guessing you may be without internet for awhile.

Randi' the bunion sounds painful, you should get it taken care of soon hon'. Foot problems are no fun that is for certain.
Kayak' the moving news is new! We got the keys Thursday evening to the new to us place. It is an older double wide mobile home. But has been kept up nicely.
The yard is small but nice, and full with lemon trees, orange trees, figs,and roses. And right now unfortunately some weeds.
It has been really windy here in Vegas area of late, and the yard where we are at now is full of weedy stuff too. We have someone trying to get here to help with that,in between the road crews working.
If they are able to do a good job, we may have them help at the new place as well. We are trying to be cautious w/ our savings. At the same time, I don't need breathing problems, hospital bills take a bite out of savings too.
TrekC/TxC' is doing somewhat better, but still use some caution, so we are going slowly with the move.
Sounds like y'all have the mold mess under control now, that is good! We checked our new place over pretty well, didn't find any mold.
We are going to have to have the main bathroom redone. The tub/shower is tiny. And the toilets seem made for children.
The dear elderly lady who lived there kept things pretty clean and tidy tho', so that is good. The yard is much smaller too than here.
I have glanced thru the MCAD stuff,and I am really suspicious it may be part of my issues, as well.
Don't overdo now okay 'Kayak', And Randi' do get that foot taken care of when you are able. Y'all are in our tho'ts and prayers!

I see my LLMD again at the end of April and I'm currently trying to work my way through Dr H's new book but it's some tough material to process. I'm getting there though.

And we'll have to travel in the middle of it all one more time at least.
Andy' I'm glad you checked in, this LymeNet family is important to me, and to TrekC' as well. Hope your LLMD appointment goes well next month. I haven't read any books by DR. H yet, I'd bet it is quite interesting!

Glad you are feeling better, sounds like you had a good time at the show!
We are moving to a nice older mobile home, not far from here but in a different park. These folks have daily and nightly security,so that will be nice.
It is an over age 55 place, and there are some rules and regulations to follow. Mostly sensible things, to keep the area safe and nice.
They do occasionally have the water shut off,and they warn you. They wont turn it off more than about 3 hours at a time. This area has some problems with older pipelines and and valves.
The folks at the new place work to fix it speedily tho'... it doesn't drag on for days. To many folk with medical issues, and with the coming high temperatures there has to be water.
Our new little place has lemon and orange trees,and also figs and roses. Most of it is fenced,except the actual driveway. I can let doggy out for a bit, and not worry he'll get loose.
Three bedrooms, 2 baths [ in one we will put in a different shower, and in both, new toilets]. It is usable now, but we'd like more room in shower and safety bars.
Nice kitchen/dining/sitting area, a formal living area,and formal dining area [the formal dining area will become our sitting room/TV room. eventually we are going to have at least part of the carpet removed.
It has been kept up nicely, a double wide, we do have to check the outdoor water they are strict about leaks. But the yard is small enough not to be to much of a chore.
LOL, I have to go look at it to see what color it is, either off white,or a pastel yellow outside, and white inside, with some pale almost neutral green.
The bathrooms are the old avocado tub colors right now. It is mostly furnished, with all appliances, the dryer is quite small so we may need to get a different one [we'll see once we figure out how to run it.]
We are still working on the logistics of the move,and have a trip in the middle of it all,so we'll do the best we can in the midst of it. We have several weeks.
Having moved several times tho' it goes fast. Right now, as we can't lift and carry a lot, we take just a few boxes at a time.
We will have the main steps redone, they are w/in code, but just a bit difficult for us. And on the driveway side,if we can figure out the logistics, we'll have a ramp built.
Friends from our church will help w/ the redo's after clearing it with the park architecture committee.
In doors they don't mind what you do,as long as you aren't running noisy machinery all hours of the day and night.
There is a pool, tho' I likely wont use it, and an exercise room.and some commmon areas for fun things. Also a club house, that seems nice.
Another friend from church lives in the area, and I am hoping that the winds calm down, I know our friend has allergy issues, and I have to be more careful now too.
I'll be glad when we are all moved, and travels over. Hopefully only one more trip, for estate business,maybe two. We hope only one tho'!
So that's where we are at, right now,we are trying to get some lawn care help, where we are moving from. The weeds are tenacious here,and spring right up thru gravel,and landscaping cloth too in some areas.
I'm glad the new place has less lawn to deal with, we'll be checking how to prune the citrus trees and so on. And hopefully can get some help. These little trees smell wonderful!
If I can get the skin rash under control, I hope to be able to enjoy our patio area. I won't be outside a lot, 'til that is better [headed to DR. this week].
Hoping our Lyme Family is staying as well as possible under the conditions,and getting better. I keep reminding myself, don't give up, keep going!
