Volunteer patient advocates are getting an increasing number of questions about CDB Oil.

I would like to have a short article, short, with links for people who are considering doing CDB Oil as a treatment.

Unfortunately, I don't feel educated enough in that topic to write up something reasonable and simple enough for new patients to follow.

If you know the topic and feel comfortable with writing up something with links to where to find more info or get certain product, I will gladly put it on the website so others will have the info available.

Editing a rough draft would be no problem for me, so it doesn't need to be "picture perfect". Just the facts.

I will be happy to provide a credit line if you do. Thanks for considering it.

Philip Blair MD spoke on CBD oil and lyme on today's Chronic Lyme Summit.

I think there's a link from someone's post. I must have watched last year and got email notice.

I have a little non-specific info....

I have used 3 forms of CBD oil for the purpose of relieving the anxiety and fear from Bart which has totally hijacked my emotional brain.

Everyone is different, though, so just writing about my experience.

I don't know what other symptoms people intend on treating with it.

CBD Tincture - purchased from dr's office. It had no effect on relieving the anxiety.

CBD Capsules - 50 mg. of CBD per capsule which is considered high-dose also purchased from drs office. It did not work for me either and was told that if it didn't, that I would be the first. I even tried taking 2. Still no effect.

CBD Paste - Ordered online. The formula was the highest form of CBD Oil, considered gold. Dose was the size of a grain of rice. This did not work for me either.

This stuff is VERY expensive, especially if you overload your Visa card with it and it doesn't work. [Frown]

NOTE: There is absolutely NO 'high' or 'buzz' felt with this product.

This is the part people should be made aware of....

My dr cautioned me about ordering online. You do not know what you are getting, what's in it, whether or not it's organic, or where it comes from.

Do your research, read the fine print.

If anyone has any questions about this and want to ask privately, please pm me.

See Bluebird Botanicals website for info about CBD oil and "blends"with other healing additives. Many feel Bluebird has an excellent reputation.

www.bluebird-botanicals.com is the website I believe.

This is not medical advice or recommendation, nor is it a product advertisement, endorsement or solicitation. Material is presented strictly to convey information from their website.

First-time customers get 20% off. There is a Sample Pack of different CBD products.

For those experiencing hardship, there is price accommodation made for the disabled, veterans and low income folks, with appropriate documentation

The"Signature Blend" is the old "Bulletproof" and contains Frankincense and Black Cumin, two longtime natural products with reported healing properties in addition to the CBD oil.

Bluebird is doing something unheard of, namely lowering prices as a process. As they have started sourcing from Colorado plants, they are lowering prices as each product switches to locally grown hemp sources.

There is a great deal of information on their website but specific product info is not appropriately obvious.

You have to click on "Buy Now" (little letters) and then you can view the various products with info.

Free shipping is advertised with orders over $49.

As always, check with your physician and advise them of all medications you currently use.

LLNP at well-known J clinic in mid-Atlantic told us the following when we asked if DK could try it.

She recommended 2 brands:

Bluebird (sample pack of their concentrated oils - they recommend Signature for Lyme patients) and Charlotte's Web (Everyday Advanced is recommended for Lyme) as they do quality testing, fungal-free, measure levels of CBD etc.

She said use it twice daily, 15-20 drops each time, for at least 30 days before deciding if it works as it needs to build up some in the fatty tissues. It works for some and not for others.

From what I can tell from my limited research this usage should not cause a drug test to be positive since tests measure THC and the CBD oils have less than 1% THC by law so they can be sold across the US.

Hope this helps. We are in the midst of a 30 day trial but DK's chronic fatigue is better in summer so may be hard to tell. We will definitely dose at first sign of chronic fatigue to see if it helps.

I understand Bluebird Botanicals is Moving and having a 40% off sale if an Echeck is used. (they write ACH after it)

I again emphasize that this is not a solicitation and I don't warranty or guarantee their products, nor do I receive anything from them, etc., and only mention this as the topic came up before and people have mentioned cost.

If someone is interested they might want to call for more information. (number below)

This is for info only for relief on some folks pocketbooks who might want to try it.

This is wording from the note from them:

40%-Off Moving/Clearance Sale

Bluebird Botanicals is moving to a new facility in July, and for that reason we are now running a moving/clearance sale.

You can receive 40% off Bluebird orders by simply choosing the eCheck (ACH) option at checkout. Credit cards don't apply, and no coupon code is needed; the 40% will automatically be deducted from your subtotal once eCheck has been selected. This promotion will be active while supplies last, and doesn't apply to CBG isolate or Bulk CBD isolate.

Please also note that it takes 24-48 hours for eChecks to land in our bank account, and we will ship orders as soon as the funds clear.

We hope you're doing very well!

Kind regards,
Bluebird Botanicals

Cbd oils are so expensive
And you need to take it for 30 days to see if it might work
So you can you try the smallest tincture and see any results
So you don't have to make such a huge investment ???

I haven't had much luck with cbd oils
I was trying the 1,000mg 100% pure CBD
I was Going thru a 10ml bottle in less then a week
Not bluebird company another one

Again, I am not selling CDB oil, I don't get commission, or special percent, or extra samples.

I just saw this post. The website is a little circuitous, to find product to buy, with price, I had to click on the empty CART and from there go to product choices.

There is a sample pack of 3 listed for 24.96. If it is 40% off at checkout, wouldn't that be about $14.96 plus ???? shipping? (how much could it be to ship? Small box)

I just thought I would mention it in case anyone was of the opinion to "try before I buy" a whole bottle of any of the oils.

I don't know if the other CBD oils are watered down but this I have HEARD no guarantees, no knowledge, no medical license, no research into hemp or dosage, that SOME people use 15 drops a day. I would guess in water. Not rubbed on the skin, I would think??????

Now we are well beyond my fund of knowledge!

Also keep in mind discounts for those who can provide documentation of need, military, etc.

Good Luck on your Lyme (and Hemp) journey.

If you live in a state where cannabis is legal, make your own cannabis oil.

Or go to a dispensary and buy cannabis oil, which may have small amounts of thc in it.

And with the real deal, you don't need to wait 30 days for results.

The advantage of the Hemp oil such as Bluebird and other brands is that there is essentially no THC, the psychoactive ingredient, in it.

Some people look for that, especially if they have to undergo drug testing, and now we are way out of my fund of knowledge. I do not know anything on that subject but perhaps the company has answers.
