Thought for the day....... “When you recognize that there is a voice in your head that pretends to be you and never stops speaking, you are awakening out of your unconscious identification with the stream of thinking. Thanks for always being here and posting these quotes.

I'll comment on your quote in a real way here - CA has been getting a lot of fires. This is due to the disturbance of our climate patterns. And not only CA, but many places around the world.

And not only fires, but also the opposite wet catastrophes around the world.

I think perturbation of normal patterns is what generates this experience of feeling like it's unreal, since it was unreal before it started. Now many people have lost their homes and communities and have to start over.

When "unreal" experience starts to happen, take a good look, because we probably may need to change the ways we're operating.

San Francisco will be a center for climate change discussion and action in September. Out of that, people will be organizing to do things differently re energy production, etc.

There - that's a real-life response!

We have no present. Our consciousness is almost completely preoccupied with memory and expectation.

We do not realize that there never was, is, nor will be any other experience than present experience. We are therefore out of touch with reality. We confuse the world as talked about, described, and measured with the world which actually is. Thought for the day....... “This one question — ‘What do I know for certain?’ is tremendously powerful. When you look deeply into this question, it actually destroys your world. It destroys your whole sense of self, and it’s meant to. You come to see that everything you think you know about yourself, everything you think you know about the world, is based on assumptions, beliefs, and opinions — things you believe because you were taught or told that they were true. Until we start to see these false perceptions for what they really are, consciousness will be imprisoned within the dream state.” Adyashanti
