Looks promising. Study is about 3 patients using disulfiram as a single agent after "failing" multiple conventional antibiotic regimens for lyme and babesia. 2 patients achieve a complete and long lasting remission, while 1 is currently taking a second round of disulfiram due to relapsing (He used a lower dose than the other 2 patients).
And just so you know, this was the drug that Dr. Lewis and John Hopkins were studying to target the dormant persister borrelia cells.
This study has started a lot of commotion in the lyme community.
I think this will give many lyme/babesia patients hope!
I tried disulfiram about a year ago and had a lot of successful results myself, a lot of herxing! Weird herxing and movements in my brain, along with the lower region of my body and in my legs.
I took it for a couple of months, I eventually got so fatigued while being on this drug I had to quit it, just like the third patient in the study.
There's another member on the HealingWell forums named Quin who suspects that the bone crushing fatigue I was experiencing was just herxing, all the die off toxins from the killing of bacteria. Could be... I also got my share of depressive thoughts as well...
I suspect this drug is going to become an important breakthrough in lyme treatment!

Thanks for posting this.
If you follow Dr. L's FB page you'll see he noted BF &SD are undertaking a IRB-approved trial and are looking for participants.

This post should have way more responses to it. As interesting and promising a treatment as i have seen in many years.
