How do they prove that Lyme disease is inactive?

You know we need to give credit to the LDA, Pat Smith for any positive changes.

She has been on the military committee dealing with tick borne diseases for several years now and working HARD to help us.

LOVE seeing positive changes being made!!

And good for you TrekCord!! Thanks for sharing that!

Finally had time to do some research on this topic- thanks Trek for getting it out there and letting me know!

We have many, many military men and women suffering which makes me wonder if the high rate of suicide might be in part due to the fact they are so sick and no one was helping them?

Anyhow...

I've put this info together. Hoping it will help!!

NEW! Military Disability Ratings For Lyme & TBD

Please share this with any men and women you know who are currently serving, or are retired from the military, and their families.

This should also go out to all health care professionals treating Lyme and tick borne diseases too.

Lyme & TBD's with disability ratings- as of August 11, 2019.

NOTE- I don’t know exactly how this came about, but I do know Pat Smith, President of the Lyme Disease Association, has been working very hard with both Congress and the military/DOD on TBD related issues for years, and more recently was chosen to serve as a volunteer on their special committee that deals with Lyme & tick borne diseases.

QUOTE- "The LDA has been pushing Congress to place Lyme/TBD into the CDMRP for many years and has worked with Congressman Chris Smith, who has led the Congressional effort, to make that happen.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016, which funded federal agencies, including the new TBDRP, passed both houses & was signed into law December 2015."
